Anyone know why this batch of Lions Mane is doing this? I been growing about 30lbs of lions mane a week for 6 months and this is the first time it's done this. It's only this one batch of 25 bags. It's in the same growroom with other batches of the same culture that look normal

Did you change anything at all about the grow room? Like, even move something that might have altered the airflow? I'm at a bit of a loss here, but can't think of anything other than o2 difference.

No it's exactly the same. In fact those blocks are on a rack next to blocks that look great

So weird. The batch coming in next (from the same culture) looks normal

I have some fruits that look they about to grow like yours and another that looks fine in the same GH.

They are starting to get a little yellow though. Could it be from too low/too high RH? It is fluctuales a lot at the moment

I though so. Maybe that's why they act up.

I doubt it's because of humidity. You can grow lions mane bags out on the kitchen counter and they do just fine. Especially on the first flush. Those look like they're not getting enough fresh air
Also you need to only cut a slit or an x on the bag. Squeeze all the air out. That way it can only grow from one spot

Could very well be not enough fresh air. I haven't installed a ventilation system in my GH yet so i air out a couple of time a day. Would it cause the yellowing too?
Yeah i got a little excited with the scapel when making these ready for the GH. Do you flip your bags when fully colonized and do you seal them with an impulse sealer?

When I first saw the pics, bad or lack of good FAE was my first thought. Yellowing from what I have experienced is lack of humidity. They also, yellow after they are past picking time for if you are going to eat them fresh and juicy. Others more experienced may have more insight...
