Yeah, Skyy isn't bad on a budget. I have no fucking clue how to spell it, but I have drinked in numerous times. Strange how I don't pay much attention.
Just stay away from Bartons. Gave a friend a brain annyerism in his 30's. Not joking. And diet was shit.
When people call me an alcoholic bringing in beer and vodka at times to mix. I just shake off the ignorance.
I don't know what it like around the world but in America, stay away from the bottom shelf. I went to a club and hid some cheap Bartons long ago. And just sat on a couch, which is weird thinking back on it and they had a pool so whatever, but downing a half pint it wasn't drunk fun, it was like a fever.
Choose wisely my friend.

Reyka vodka.
Hands down the best IMO. I like vodka. Straight up, on the rocks. I used to think all vodka tasted the same. Then a local distillery had a tasting and I thought "this one actually tastes a bit different." After that, I double-blind evaluated pretty much every brand mentioned in this thread.
I can consistently choose Reyka. Not sure what it is, but the texture "feel" and sensation are awesome.

Kirkland Signature. No need to get fancy, just good clean vodka, priced at $13 for 1.75L. These days I use vodka as a cocktail additive, so I'm not looking for any particularly strong (or subtle) flavors..
Back when my grandmother was still around, we used to sip Chopin Polish vodka on the reg. She was Russian/Polish/Estonian. I do miss her a lot.

Every vodka filtered more than 5 times taste exactly the same for 99% of the population.
Vodka is basic liquor. A 40$ bottle of 5 times filtered vodka tastes the same as a 6 times filtered 900$ bottle.
If you're part on that 1% of vodka connoisseur than good for you. If not, stop paying for expensive vodka. Mid shelf priced vodka of any brand will taste the exact same thing as the bottle next to it.
In fact that's why vodka producers invest so much in bottle design. They know they are selling filtered vodka like everyone else so they get creative with the bottle. Some producers make skull shaped bottles, other make them seem like there's a ghost in them, others have glass art at the bottom... It's all about the art. Not the product.

Exactly. Hence my earlier vote for Kirkland Signature (Costco's house brand for those who don't know), 1.75L distilled six-times Vodka for the astoundingly low low price of $13. Side note, Costco recently changed distillers for their Kirkland Signature Añejo tequila, and while it's not quite as interesting as some añejo's, it's still very good, and absolutely remarkable that they can sell a liter of it for $19.99! One of my favorite sipping tequilas is Casamigos repasado, which Costco also carries here in California. But at $40 for 750 mL of the Casamigos repasado, I still pick up a bottle of the KS añejo for less than half the unit price.

Agreed that anything more than 5 times seem insignificant, but has to be atleast 2-3 times imo. Also true that the hard alcohol bottle has a first impression appeal like hot sauces do.

Tito's is probably my favorite. Popov is surprisingly drinkable for the price. The Kirkland Signature grey goose knockoff is on par with actual grey goose and costs way less.

Buying popov and filtering it yourself with activated charcoal is probably gonna give you the best product for the cheapest price.

A handle (1.75L) of Popov goes for $15. Costco's Kirkland Signature US Vodka is only $13! The Kirkland Signature French Vodka handles go for $20. Anyone who drinks vodka and has access to Costco, would be doing themselves a disservice not to at least try their unbelievably low cost and well produced product.

Just whatever you do, don't buy the Kirkland Brand Light Beer. Its best to avoid that one altogether.

Anyone who drinks vodka and has access to Costco, would be doing themselves a disservice not to at least try their unbelievably low cost and well produced product.

1.75 liters cost at least 60$ for all liquors.

Yeah, Canada really isn't a place for drinkers. And I thought Utah in the States was overpriced.
This still makes me laugh, don't take offense but I need a laugh. Especially when he restarts the ignition when the cop is there and the music. Oh the 80's, what a different time. In movies there was always a crowd rushing people for some reason with so many movies.

You're paying more for the packaging than what's inside with the goose

Grey Goose is amazing anyway in my opinion.
Something I learned today on YouTube on Prohibition from times past.

Why not distil your own?
Make it the right way, distill it properly and its 10x better and 10x cheaper than storebought.
You don't even need a still, pots and pans will do:

Fuck no.
Grey Goose. Time for music and getting really fucked up with other "substances". No judgement, to each their own. Have fun man. My body just recoiled in horror at the thought of what that would do to me and the day after.

Lol. You say "no judgment" yet your whole response is a judgement. No problem. I drank grey goose for years. Tito is smoother and 60% less expensive.

You have a point. Sorry, just feeling defensive at the present time. Still, but, or instead, let people find their own way and don't judge impulsively. Which is my problem. Just tired of it.
But really, do not want to drink that. Breakfast of champions for a reason. And not a cereal for a reason and I get it.
Have found it is best to just live and let live. Apologies but my life is working out great for me.
