Why isn't pan cyan more popular? * 1
    #26486970 - 02/15/20 11:52 AM (3 years, 11 months ago)

Just curious everyone's opinion.  To me it seems better than cubes, more potent and more visual.

Perhaps its because its less common and more expensive for spores

Also its slightly more difficult to grow than cubes. Cubes are very n00b-friendly.

A friend told me that azurescens and cyanescens are more common on the west coast. Not sure if it's true or not

This is correct. Both grow wild in the PNW and in Northern Cali. Theres other active wild species as well.

Because its more difficult to grow, yeilds are much smaller, and honestly I dont think most people would give it the respect it deserves and eat a bunch and freak out lol. Not that I'd ever wanna tell anyone what or what not to do, but i think the process of finding/cultivating them demands more respect and you're less likely to he that guy that eats 4g and causes a huge scene lmao. Just my 2c.

I wish it was more popular. I think the first time I ever tried any was Pan cyans, but I didn't know back then how to tell. I took 3g and it was insane, nothing has compared. Even 3g of PE was nothing like it, so I am assuming that it wasn't a cubensis.

What are some of the favorite Pan cyan teks? I have read most, but always looking for a fresh persepctive.

I tried years ago but I never had any success. I'm getting back into cultivating cubes more and things have been going smooth so I want to order some spores and give it another go.

Danged city slickers afraid of a little manure. I grew up sharing a room with a horse (there wasnt any rooms left in the house when i came along so i slept in the barn) and poop aint nothing to be afraid of. Don't worry if manure don't complement the flavor bouquet/aroma of your fancy urban cup of tea, the manure don't go in your tea. It go in the pasteurizing bath. Thank you.

You know poo teas are really good. But they are for plants

I don't have any problems with dung, I grew a lot on all kinds of poop. I used to go out on the fields get those dry shit nuggets, mixed up with some hay or straw and had massive flushes even with MS.

I have a Pan culture right now on agar and will attempt to fruit them soon. I never grew them before so I am very excited and really like the challenge

I mean there's a few of us that feel the same way  Come check out the official pan thread.

My first proper trip was 2g cyans lemon tek'd, right when I joined Shroomery. It was so fucking scary, there's
no words. Like skull fucked into a Hellraiser movie. The come down was really nice though

I came out of that and my first thought was "I'm gonna learn how to grow that". Still working on it. A lot more
fun to grow than cubes, imo. And it's faster. You can go from wedge to fruits in about a month when conditions
are ideal.

And for the record, the yield is more not less, once you can get some proper flushes. Not by weight of course, but
in terms of absolute tripping balls per gram.
