Good to spawn?

Hey,
Was planning on spawning today. Made my coir mix and went yo grab the jars. Some obviously need a few more days to recover from the shake on wednesday. The ones like this one im not quite so sure about. They look 99% colonized but still have what appears to be very small sections of uncolonized. Is this good to spawn today or should I give it another day or 2?

If it were me I would wait 2-3 more days. I wait until I can’t see any uncolonized grains then 2 more days to get anything I can’t see in the middle.

Here is another example. Fully colonized on all 4 sides but I can see some grain on top. It was like this before so I shook a third time. It recovered very well but same issue. Wait a few more days on this one too? Will my coir mix last a few days in the bucket or should I make another batch at that time?

It's time. No reason to wait.

Apparently my spawn is just never healthy! Im not sure where I'm going wrong. Thought it was excess water in/on the seed so Ive been letting the seed dry for a few hours now before jarring. Thought that had fixed the problem but I'm disheartened to hear that these too are affected in some way. Im not getting contams after I spawn and Im averaging 1-2 oz from first flush on each shoebox then I just throw them out. Never had luck with any further flushes. I dont know. Ill keep trying I guess. Please feel free to input anywhere you think the issue is lying for me if you can tell at all. Thanks.

Guess ill start spawning them. Some are MSS and others are a G2G from a MSS. Got 16 quarts total ready to spawn to 8 shoeboxes. Im not fooling with monos yet as I seem to be still having issues with the basics and dont want to lose a lot of time/fruits in the process.

There's your problem. Ms to grain or Ms to get to more grain still means bacterial contams.

zenarrow said: Dood, just do a mono. I would used like 7 or 8 quart jars per monotub. They will be fine, I do believe.
For some of is, the only real starting point is to start with MSS. I did MSS to wbs, had a few more uncolonized seeds on top. I attributed it to them being dried out.
My tub turned out just fine. I also made a few shoeboxes with some brf cakes I was going to put in sgfc incase my jars met a cruel fate. I had 9 jars of wbs, used 7 for mono and saved 2 for future g2g.
No contams as of yet. The 2 shoeboxes and mono are on second flush. More mushys than I will need for a while.
This was my first attempt past pf tek. Sure I am learning and next step is probably trying agar.
But in no way am I disappointed in my process this far.
To me those jars seem good to me. I may have even rushed a bit to spawn mine.
But 3 days every evening I was trying to Harvest as much as I could before I had to sleep to work the next morning.
As bod said shoot try them anyway. I think they will be alright.
I am sure they will be fine I agree, but your comment is like saying. Yeah man I play Russian roulette all the time. I haven't ate a bullet yet, so you should be fine doing it!

For sure, I think you miss understood me. What I meant to say is that giving bad advise to other members while not having the knowledge to support why your advise is good, is bad. Just bad science. "I smoked for 50 years and never got cancer." Does not mean smoking is good for you. All I was saying is that your statement to the OP was not helpful. But overall I agree that the OP should spawn those jars.
I think it is good you are starting agar. There are alot of great threads (Bodhisatta) is a good place to start. Read everything and go for it. Also why not just use your own spores? Why buy more syringes from sponsors? But that is way off topic and I apologise to the OP.
