well alot of you have doubted the gift god's bestowed on me and I'm clearly wasting it here, so I wish you all the best in life. always believe in yourself, never give up and always do the next right thing even when it hurts. You can lie to the world but never be dishonest with yourself. I love you all and hope you all find your cloud, i'm about to find mine. you will probably read about me in papers someday, atleast I believe you will. excited to see what this new life holds for me.

I feel like most of us don’t know what this gift you speak of is. If you’re still around, please elaborate.
And whatever it may be, there will always be doubters. If you’re a Terrence Mckenna fan, he once told an interesting story about Jesus and the doubter, claiming that God loves the doubter.
Don’t be mad at those who doubt you. Love them because, without them, your gift would never be truly validated.

While we are on Jesus, even wilder than His response to Thomas, is his relationship to Judas. What the hell was going on there?
First, there is a reference to Judas stealing money from the disciples communal purse. I’m not sure if Jesus knew this, but the writers of the book seem to know. Then, oddly, Jesus seems to have been aware that Judas was going to betray him, yet he is still invited to Passover dinner that night.
It’s easy and popular to say Judas is the example of a bad christian, and he is traditionally used that way very often. it’s easy to assume he is in hell, Or that God didn’t love him as much the other disciples. The only out right condemnation of Judas afterward seems to come from the other disciples, not Jesus. I can’t think of any verse that indicates Jesus was “anti-Judas” even after the fact. Correct me if I am mistaken.
It is interesting to me that he is still counted as one of the 12 apostles, even within modern Christianity and the western world at large.
It’s an honor in a sense. How many other disciples can you name? 😊 Judas has historic/literal clout in a similar way to Mathew or Mark.
Anyway, no real real point, not even to sure what to make of it, if it’s even half true. just thought of this angle a few months ago and figure since we are approaching Holy Week, and y’all brought Jesus up, it would be appropriate to share this. 👍
Not trying to convert anyone, just noticed and am pointing out the strangeness that is in the Bible, but isn’t widely addressed in Christianity.

The gift is control over your own destiny so long as you believe in your higher power. After today I will no longer be apart of this forum. Nor will I ever engage in psychedelic use. Some of you guys are close to an awakening others I don’t see a fuckin chance. But I’m off to hone my spiritual gifts. You will likely read about me someday. Question your worldly ties, question your beliefs and always continue to grow. I’m 25 with my first breakthrough and I hope to be the first person under 30 with a major breakthrough this century. Your dreams are only as big as you let them get. Best of luck lads, hope you enjoyed the old me

At least don’t be a pussy about it. you are who you are, people will enjoy it or not, and what was said, was said. If you stay great, if you don’t, then gtfo and don’t look back for a delete button, or a response to your posts. G up, homey.
Come back later if you grow up, I will always give you a chance. No hard feelings, unless their yours.
Peace.
P.s. mods don’t ban me plz, this isn’t flames, instead it is my sincere advice, with a touch of the dramatic.

when you reach this state in your mind you realize you say goodbye to drugs, goodbye to that life, and goodbye to everything material you love if you want to fully accept the gift. I've given away $1500 worth of bongs, flushed the rest of my weed, haven't had artificial sugar in weeks, no caffeine, no alcohol, no psychedelics in over a month. you have to nurture the gift when you get it.
I will leave you all with this "you have nothing to fear but fear itself" look at what scares the fuck out of you during these experiences and realize it isn't scary, it's just in your mind. some of you will find your way, others will get lost along the path. I don't owe anyone here shit, and if I ever come back it will be after i'm on the other side. (Reflector, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic monkeys, and a few other bands can help get you into the mindset tripping) papadosio as well, I can only guide you guys, you need to find your answers, but I've learned all I can from you guys and a few people are watching over you already so I can go fuck off to be the cunt I am though. I'm saying goodbye to my old life. I will never forget what I learned here. you guys were great. and you think im some ass and it's great. because I am, but I'm also going to be one of the smartest people in the world and you all called me an idiot so that will be my satisfaction from this website.

Man, I wish you would reconsider and come back.
I think you are on your own wave right now. But, you also seem to me as if you are categorizing a negative experience and desiring a future satisfaction from currently unmet expectations. That’s bad juju.
My opinion is that you are misjudging about half of the people here. It’s true, You get stereotyped by some because, well, they aren’t nice, but you aren’t exactly a bag of sunshine yourself. Then there are some of us who actually know what you mean, yet, we also know the row to hoe is longer than you currently believe. It isn’t the majority that is against you... As it appears you believe it is. Or , is what you believe appearing? I can’t remember the right way to do things sometimes, either.
I do care about you, I don’t want you to leave here carrying a type of bad taste in your mouth over a few personal conflicts. Personalities seem to do that. There really are quite a few amazing folks here. If you chose to follow their posts instead of responding with like kind to every less than generous person... maybe your bad experience in this online community would transform into a healing and growing exercise right before your eyes.
I will prob post back if you do, at least until you leave.
Pro tip: There is an ignore button for members, if you are a weenie, you could utilize that and drop out of ratings.
Also, TPE is like a tame version of OTD sometimes, I am a troll by nature, I love it. People are wild, but there are limits. Other parts of the forum are way more receptive and accepting. Maybe just check out getting started and the pub, or even spirituality forum.

If you have your path set and have a clear aim, that is awesome and we're happy for you. I haven't seen your interactions too much on this site so I'm not sure why you want to leave so badly but if you feel it is right for you, I wish you luck!

I definitely understand where you are coming from. I stopped smoking weed because I felt that it was doing more harm than good for me. BUT that is not an inherent property of the substance, that was me misusing it. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and not blame external sources. If it is in your best interest to stop all of that stuff, then more power to you.

1) No one thinks you owe anyone anything. The people talking to you here are simply engaging in a community and they don't believe you owe them anything because you are here. It is simply an open community and everyone comes and goes as they please.
2) I certainly have nothing to teach you but maybe you haven't learned as much as you think here. Not that you have to, and there are other places to make these discoveries along your life path, but that statement seems a bit grandiose.
3) What happened? All I can deduce from your thread is that you were seriously mistreated here, which I doubt. (But then again I only know my experience and I'm sure yours could be vastly different).
Don't take this the wrong way but I think you may be overreacting. You seem to be playing the victim all while proclaiming how incredible enlightened you are compared to the rest of the people here. As someone who has struggled with vast amounts of neuroses, I can tell you I see much of my old behavior in your expressions on this thread. There was a lot of trauma I had to work through to begin changing my behaviors. Not that this will help but, just food for thought.
And in my travels I met a lot of self-proclaimed Gurus, enlightened masters, "woke" people etc and most of them had one thing in common. They had a massive ego. They could not see past themselves. Which was a shame because they were usually incredibly smart (at the very least much smarter than me) people who were really skilled at mastering a lot of what they preached. Ultimately they were still human and had flaws, like the rest of us.
No one is worth deifying. Enlightenment is a journey that lasts from birth to death and can't be completed in a single lifetime.
Please note, none of what I said here should suggest I am enlightened in any way shape or form, I am not. I am simply sharing my experiences. None of this is meant to be offensive. If you disagree I'd very much like to hear you out. I am not looking to be right, I am just searching for truth.

And with that post, I am officially proclaiming Socrates my new guru.
Listen to him 330ci, dude doesn’t know your history.
And that sounds like a fairly solid external observation. Actually, as keen as steel, I think.
I am well acquainted with your exciting escapades here in TPE, and I am telling you again
Listen to Socrates here, you don’t have to obey, but at least hear what he is saying, with ZERO background knowledge of you. That’s cray cray. Like a nail on the head.

neither me nor the "real" Socrates are fit to be anyone's Guru, but thank you for the compliment!
I'm simply speaking from experience and I see a reflection of myself in 330ci in many ways. I was an incredibly arrogant, always knew better than everyone else person in my past (Not that he is, just saying that from what I've read here, our behaviors seemed similar). It was all the neurotic manifestation of my suffering. I'm here because my first mushroom tripped "flipped" a switch of awareness in me. And when I saw that behavior in myself I was appalled.
But none of it was malicious, I was just in such secret despair that I didn't know how to cope. Luckily I had the opportunity to do some real healing. I still struggle, and some days are harder than others, but I have shed many of those neurotic manifestations. And I like to try and help people who struggle, because I was helped by someone who struggled like me and conquered his demons.
If you want a real legend to intently listen to on here, I recommend footpath. His advice has really helped me out and he seems, to me, someone closer to "enlightened" than I've ever met. (And DJ ED, he's got so much experience its awesome to bask in his wisdom. If you're reading this DJ ED, we're still waiting on that trip report from your insane trip back in the day!)
P.S I had a long response to your Judas post up above but I didn't want to hi-jack this thread into that direction.
