Its impossible to have any sort of rational argument with you guys

Here's some rationale for you, who fucking cares if Bazos can't spend 50 billion dollars when there are millions who can't afford dinner, or healthcare?

Exactly. Who cares about Bezos when there are people who can't take care of themselves to their own satisfaction? These people need our help and worrying about how Bezos spends his money is 100% pointless.

That has to be one of the least honest arguments I have ever heard. Seriously, absolute garbage right there.

They might be able to if they had just a little bit more pay.

The point is that the logical conclusion of what you are proposing entails the forced distribution of commodity until everybody is on exactly the same level of well-being. As soon as someone moves above that level you feel entitled to take that surplus away and redistribute it for the greater good.

But its not only that. You think this rule should only apply to people who are on a higher level than yourself.

No, I am not saying there cannot be a more fair distribution of wealth, but your argument is pretty flawed IMHO/ Why would anyone work. If you have nothing you get it for free. If you work extra hard and accumulate extra, it gets taken away by force.

Why do you put words in my mouth?
Again, I never said Bezos should GIVE his money away. He can spend it, invest it or boof it for all I care! I’m arguing against wealth hoarding - a practice that shrinks the economy for EVERYONE.

“Why would anyone work?”? If there’s a $50B cap on wealth you can hoard, how the fuck would it affect ANYONE who works for a living???

I never said that. That's you making shit up.

Some people just want a simple life, and to be able to afford the basic necessities like food, shelter, and gas, etc... without having to scrape for it or get a basic 2 year degree even. It used to be that way, but the greedy fat cats took that simple life away simply because they could/can.

Nothing wrong with wanting the simple life.

But just because you want something simple doesn't mean it should be handed to you.

If all you want to do is stand there and breathe, it is no one's responsibility to feed you.

Do you take issue with the redistribution of wealth in the past 50 years?

Dude, please. I understand the draw of extreme wealth and how a person can dream and hope to attain it. Fact is it's a small club not everyone can get into it, and you'll find that out of you get far enough, maybe you're already connected and that's what it takes. Not just anyone can get there, they make it seem that way, but it's not.

No, I will not hand it to you tyrannicalrex!

You must take the pleasure of the walking the path to earn whatever it is you want.

However far or short the path.

It goes for all of us and is really a blessing to be able to walk that path and feel all of its bumps.

I know you know that, T. So why not be ok with everyone else following their respective paths be they short and rocky or wide and smooth?

LOL, I have walked a road I wouldn't wish anyone to walk on, 1st not by choice, then it was. I am OK now, really really good in fact, and I have never asked for a handout. I have always worked, since I was 13 in fact. 17 legally/on paper. I was a milk runner for a borden milk truck, then I and my brother and friends helped unload plants for a greenery in the summers, then fast food then restaurants, the bars, and now a nurse. I know hard work. BUT, I chose to stay inside, harder work would have been roofing and building houses etc...fuck that shit!

Trex... this is going to blow your noodle.

I just read that Bezos worked at McDonald's in his youth.

THAT NIGGA WORKED AT MCDONALD'S.

If Bezos once worked at McDonald's... anyone can do it.

He's just another one of us.
