is this mold or bruising?

lets try this again, hey guys first timer here, would you say this is bruising or contamination? me being me i have been fidgeting with the bag everyday since inoculation spreading it around trying to spot mycelium, i woke up this morning and saw this.

Don’t look good to me. Probably Trich in which you need to get rid of it ASAP. But don’t take my word for it I’m still pretty new to this!

It is definitely not the mycelium that you are looking for. Once you inoculate, you should leave it alone for awhile.
It looks like you are working with a grain bag. There is some mycelium there, but that green patch is not it.

Popcorn is tricky cause blue+orange can look greenish. Try WBS.

But yeah, that’s probably mold.:sad:

Yes I used a ms syringe from cylocybe.

All spores come from mushrooms. They make a spore print, then use it to make a syringe. It’s impossible to keep that process sterile.
Vendors grow just like we do to attain the spores.

Sure, maybe 4/5 syringes happen to be clean. But that 1/4 has some contam spores swimming around in there.
