contams or good to go ?

mixed some colonized spawn + substrate a few days ago and wanted to get some eyes on this if I could. Been researching here where I can such as this though still don't have a definitive answer. The myc has a grey and wispy look to it that is a bit disconcerting - If it's contamination I'd rather toss it out now before it turns green and infects my whole place + future grows.
does this look healthy...

... also some ( possibly suspect? ) fuzz emerging from some of the fruits...

This was a g2g from some of the same initial myc/grain... mostly just trying to make sure I'm not introducing a ton of mold spores into my place - on that note how hyper-vigilant should I be when contams pop up? MY method so far is to turn off all room fans / spray down with iso and or soap and flush down the toilet. Curious to hear what other methods folks employ.

I guess to further answer your question(s), I have honestly only had contamination show up on the third flush of a monotub and a couple brf jars back when that was my method. I just discard the substrate wash everything down and keep going.
As for the fuzzy growth from the mushroom it almos tr appears to be mycelium stretching out from the mushroom itself. I'm not for sure on that but it does not appear to be cobweb if thats what you were asking.

hmm - pretty sure this isn't healthy ...

what is disturbing is initial stages when the mycelium is colonizing has that same grey wispy look

I think you got some weird mutants, OP. That doesn't look like cobweb.

thanks for the reply
I've had super low if any contamination in my previous grows as well, but looks like something got a hold of the ones I just attempted to grow.
My main concern is just wondering if the grain itself is infected. just made 5 shoeboxes full using the same initial myc

I think it's bad. Doesn't look ok on top that cap. The myc isn't as uniform as cubes
But idk. It's WEIRd

Im going to stand by my previous post and say your all good OP. If there is mycelium reaching out you may need more fae.

Undoubtedly contaminated in my opinion

It’s reaching out for more air? Is that why it would so that?

definitely weird, I think these might go straight to the compost bin.
My bigger question is if the colonizing grains ( 1st pic) look healthy or if I should be worried. It it's contaminated it may help myself or others to take preventative measures.

The colonizing sub looks real pretty. That's in good shape. The myc reaching out of the cap doesn't even look like cubensis myc. The growth pattern of it looks to chaotic in my opinion. But I've never seen this before so I'm clueless.

Could be too wet causing myc to grow off the shrooms, but that does look off if it’s myc.

It's pin mold. Has it started making black dots yet?

thank you for the replies.
Decided not to wait for the black-dots to appear and spread to future grows so I boiled and tossed those poor suckers. I did keep a small section growing to see how it evolves, or.. devolves and I'll share the results.
Glad that the current sub/spawn mix looks healthy to most,
cheers everyone

I'd say you did the right thing. I often times keep contaminated subs around in a different part of the house (upstairs as opposed to down), depending on severity. Sometimes you just want to see whats gonna happen to something.
Good luck on your endeavors

That looks like a parasitic fungi and not cube mycelium. I would not eat those. Iv'e seen tons of mutants and lots of fae problems which lead to myc on caps. That is not what is happening here. Please be safe.
