That's sad. Bottles got me hooked to mush cult. Here's a picture from my first grow from May 2017. Turned out to something like 120g dry first flush Mazatapec MS from 19 pint bottles.

Here's how my Great White Monster turned out in the bottle:
EDIT: 11/7/1/2018 - It's been since noticed that the coloring at the base is Pseudomonas bacteria, these fruits were discarded.

If I have clean culture on agar, I could inoculate my bottles my making a liquid inoculant?
Is that the preferred method here?

Whatcha mean RIP?! Last I read in his post history is that he was getting divorced, had some legal troubles and was getting over a meth addiction.
Is he dead or just AFK?

i prefer that method. If I have more than a couple bottles to do I always use Li. Fast and even growth.

Thanks - how many mls of LI do you add to say, a quart jar of substrate?
Do you pour or syringe?

I can't recall, I just pour a bit now. Haven't measured for a while. Maybe 30 ml per quart?
It is mentioned in the original post, perhaps under a Liquid inoculant hyperlink if I remember.

I mixed Coco coir and verm to spawn jars (I was given the wrong info) is there anything I can add to this mix so I can use them to spawn jars instead of throwing it all away?

He doesn't have any colonized grains, I told him there might be a bottle tek recipe. Since it is already mixed, i would not trust it to wait a month or so.

How am I looking here?
Everything seems good but just wondering if anyone can see anything that I can't. Eg. Too dry/wet.

Great work! This is by far the easiest method I've ever seen. I want to try growing my own mushrooms someday soon so I figure this would be a great way to start. Thanks so much for the info. As a noob I have a ton of questions for anyone with an answer. I apologize in advanced.
1. Can you use a pot of boiling water instead of a pressure cooker for sterilization?
2. After germinating (during colonization) do you keep the lids on a little loose, or should they be air-tight?
3. When you put the bottles in the SGFC do you remove the lids?
4. When you rinse the substrates and place them back in their jars, do you need to inoculate them again?
Again, thank you very much for the tutorial.

Fruits seem to like what you're doing, so I'd say you're good. I can't tell if that verm is too dry in spots, but I don't see glistening. On the ones with no fruiting, maybe give them a light mist. When I did these bottles, I'd take a verm piece and squish it between my finger and thumb to see if it was moist.

1. I've never sterilized via any method but PC, so can't say. People do with PF, so look into that and experiment? Or just get a PC..
2. Tighten lid, then turn it loose just a tad. GE is good.
3. You don't need a SGFC with this tek. You can just put in a tote, and yes, lids off(of the bottles).
4. This tells me you have some more research to do. Once you grasp the grow cycle, you'll know that substrates only colonize once, but pump multiple flushes out assuming contams don't take over. Inoculate>colonize>harvest>rinse>harvest>rinse>harvest...

For the second flush on the bottles would you clean off the verm, dunk for an hour then reapply a fresh verm layer or just skip the verm second time around?
