Woah a meow meow PEN? This world is full of wonders Unless you have a history of mental health problems, there should any negative effects. How do you dose with a pen anyway? Just take drags until you’re lost in time?

You bought the pen already....... why worry about brain damage now?
Sitter is optional if you aren’t dumb. Meaning sit somewhere that you won’t fall and hurt yourself, don’t have open flame and sharp objects near by, etc etc
A small hit to test is fine, hold it for sure, wait about 20-30 mins or so after that test dose before trying to actually blast off.
Typically, for myself, 1 extra hit past where I feel comfortable with at the time will do the trick. If you are -able- to feel hesitant about 1 more hit, that’s a good sign you didn’t quite get enough.
Post back, excited to read an update/trip report.
Good vibes headed your way!

You absolutely can test it out with a small hit. Sometimes I'll do low doses with friends where we just float in and out of the psychedelic space without losing reality.

DMT is no more harmfull than shrooms. In fact, psilocin is 4-ho-dmt, they are very closely related.
The effects do overlapp also, pretty much the same, but dmt is just stronger and shorter if smoked. A low dose of dmt feels just like an advanced shroom high. Higher doses are unique.
If you can handle shrooms the you won't need a sitter for dmt.
Vape pens are hard to dose correctly. For a one-hit-trip there needs to be a lot dmt in there. I bet many people put in small ammounts, so that one needs several hits to get it going. Just try it out for yourself.

The main effects do last maybe 5 to 10 minutes, with lingering after-effects for ~30min in total.

i've had mental health problems my whole life, did a fuck ton of psychs, have no desire to use psychs ever again now, and I feel better than I've ever been. depression, anxiety, fear of the future, fear of what people think about me, all fuckin gone. lifes never been better. if you truely believe you will find answers and you keep asking the hard questions you don't want to face you will come out a stronger person. I used DMT the first time in the back seat of my truck when I was in highschool lying down without a sitter

nope, would not reccomend, at a minimum it's a waste of good psychs, could be dangerous as well I wouldn't know. Fuck SSRIs they're the devil

I have never used any medications within 3 months of psychedelic use so I don't know what to tell you there.
when in doubt, I would err on the side of caution.

i believe it's a bad idea to mix SSRIs and psychs, as it might cause serotonin syndrome. at the least, the SSRI can inhibit the trip. best to come off them first before doing psychedelics. (cautiously, of course.) and since they linger in your system a long time, i think you have to give them like 2-4 weeks before its cleared out.
on the plus side, psychedelics can sometimes completely blast a persons depression away entirely, or at least lessen it, so it might be worth the wait.
i know for sure that MAOI inhibitors like harmaline potentiate dmt, and in fact are used to make it active orally (which makes it last for several hours of tripping). since SSRIs are like harmaline only much much longer lasting... it's probably not a good idea to mix them with psychedelics. :x gotta wait i think.

it literally cured addiction and depression in me overnight. But took a long while to get there. Experience is fucking nuts I feel like a new person. My whole mindset is changed. I’m like 3 weeks into the new me and I’m 61 pages into a book, starting my business I’ve been talking about for years, I’ve mended every broken relationship I’ve had in life. I’m kicking ass and taking names. But I totally agree with you to avoid until SSRIs have worn off

Contrary to popular belief, I think DMT is a great first-trip. Not a full on blast off by any means... but a 5mg to 15mg hit will open up those doors of perception, give noticable visuals and the emotional intensity of tripping, without the 6 hour commitment of mushrooms of the 12 hour commitment of LSD.
Even if one goes father out than anticipated , 10 minutes vs 10 hours. DMT is also so fast acting that you rarely have time to freak out during the come up.

yeah, DMT cured my depression, and i didn't even realize until after the spiritual weight had come off that i had it. afterwards i was like ... goddamn, how did i let myself get that bad?
sometimes it just sneaks up on you. the compromising of your goals, the masks you put over yourself to fit in until they feel more like your own face than your own face, the lies you tell yourself until they seem more real than the truth...
then a trip comes along like a hurricane and rips it all away and leaves only you behind. if you accept it, its amazing, like a breath of fresh air, like the world comes alive. if you try and resist, it cuts you to pieces with the shrapnel of those deceptions until you learn to accept yourself.
either way, you learn. and suddenly you feel a little more respectful of those new age crystal shamans claiming "all the answers are inside yourself". maybe so, maybe not, but the subconcious mind is far wiser than most people give it credit for. it's just that the way it communicates is not by words and logic, but by an entirely different way of knowledge. its a lifelong process understanding how to understand it, but one utterly worth knowing.
