Yes they look that way. IT went blue almost immediately when I snipped the stem.

Just went on my first pick ever! I'm a big noobie at this, so very excited after finding a big bunch that I'm thinking are Psilocybin but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if its a bit risky/if they look generally good or not as there are a fair few. Theres a lot so just try your best on giving me your best opinion on whether they are safe or not! Blueish/dark purple/black spots on stems and caps, and they are already leaving black spore prints.

So do we have any species that resemble pan cyans and are deadly, at least in aus?
Did a bit of research and I saw maybe one, but it was also different enough to distinguish.

Yea Galerina marginata is found in Aus. But there are a few ways to tell them apart. Galerina has an annulus, they don't bruise blue,

I'm referring to Pan Cyan lookalikes. Those look like something a newbie would pick thinking is a cube or psilo cyan, don't really see anyway that could be confused as a pan

Swiltzy,
Panaeolus antillarum closely resemble P. cyanascens, but are not active or deadly. I’m interested to know too if there is a deadly lookalike in Australia

Oh I skipped over the pan and just saw cyan. No idea about the dung loving cyans

A newbie here and found these in Northern NSW. I believe they are Panaeolus Cyanescens. What do you guys think?

Habitat: on ground. Didn't pay attention to if they were on dung Gills: Black Stem: White, slightly brown at base. Long and tin Cap: white with some brown in center. 2-3cm wide Bruising: blue General location: Northern NSW Spore print: black
Not sure if this is the place to ask, but does anyone have any experience cultivating these? Thanks

Yup, you got some cyans there friendo, at least from what I can tell but wait for more confirmations.
Whereabouts in Northern NSW may I ask? Could give you some solid spots to pick if you're close.

Nice one mate!
Today after a 500km drive there (n back.) Got about 3-4 Kilos of cubes in the rain half sunburnt.
It was still worth it.

Okay, so 3.5 kilos fresh equals 3500 grams, around 350 grams dry divided on 5 grams equals 70 heroic doses.

If you trip as seldom as me, you'd have enough to supply your grandchildren.
