When I do give up on colonization? (Stalled jars with pins)

I'm at about day 30 with some brf jars (half pint, tall). Colonization seems to have stalled -- most jars are at about 80%, but the jar bottoms don't seem to be doing anything. And I have pins, some really taking off. These are Cambodians.
So I thought colonization was proceeding VERY slowly, but now I'm wondering if it is at all. Do I throw in the towel and just... what? Birth them and wash away the uncolonized parts? What are the odds?
Thx.

Some pics would help.
When a jar pins before 100% colonization, that means somethings wrong with the PF mixture u made. Its either too dry, too wet, or fragmented (mycelium physically cant reach the PF material on the bottom).
If it is pinning, i recommend birthing and removing the uncolonized parts with clean hands. Then put into an FC and bottom water. I would avoid dunking them cause it can kill the pins in the water.

Im gonna differ with Logica Chaos on this one, With BRF we always innocuate with MS syringes unless using an LC. So if it is pinning but not fully colonized I would be there is a contamination in the jar.

Not disagreeing, but asking a question as it may help OP and other curious people. Do you think you know the reason it would pin when contam is present? Last ditch effort? Or is it another reason, like logic said, and it should be birthed.

Pictures as requested.
Not sure what to expect if I birth these. Will the cakes fall apart? Do I wash away the uncolonized portion under running water? Use a fork? Should I isolate them from each other in case of contams?

Im gonna go with Contaminated via bacteria. You can spawn it, see what happens. Wash away the uncolonized sections. If they are both contaminated you can put them in the same FC, bacteria doesn't spread like mold.
