Bigger the tub, larger the fruits?

I've noticed when I make 1 jar little shoe boxes, my pe blobs are tiny and I get smaller fruits in general. I keep the ratio the same and it even fruits at the same time as my larger tubs. But when I do larger tubs (66qt) 6x the spawn and size of a shoe box they are larger fruits.
Im wondering If i was able to get more surface area and go larger with the tub size. (Got the largest tote possible or made my own) **((or even use a room))** Use 12 jars, 1400g coir, 8liters water, 8qt verm Assuming the surface area is 2x the size and I can keep my thickness the same as normal..
Do you think they would increase in size?

I would say genetics play more of a role in size. These dicks grew out of mason jars (small substrate).

From my limited experience tub size made absolutely no difference between a minimum in Tupperware vs a 54qt tub...

I just thought with a larger mycelial network they might be inclined to give larger fruiting bodies. I'll be focusing my work on (enigma, tidalwave) etc. Not just PE, but including PE + melmac. I feel like with more hydration in the larger block, the fruiting bodies could use it to continue to grow larger.

They say millions of years ago the planet was covered in mushrooms the size of trees.

Substrate depth will play more of a role, but that has more to do with holding moisture than increasing the amount of mycelium. Of course this has quickly diminishing returns after a certain point. 3"-4" is ideal.

Shit you got your hands on enigma! That's a wild mutant, so hideous! Would have lived to work with it before I gave up the hobby...

Yeah man, i have a small batch coming in now, just beginning to pin. But I made lots of liquid culture so I plan on going hard.
I like the ziplock jar method you have, it looks like a guarantee. Love seeing new shit.

I've been working with AA+ Albino and I most definitely notice an enormous difference in fruit size between shoeboxes and 99L mono tubs.
The mushrooms are a foot long in the monos sometimes. Less than half that in the shoeboxes.

I’ve run over 25 shoeboxes and only gotten maybe 8 shrooms over 30g wet. I know people say genetics and I see plenty of big ones on small subs but it just seems like with the number of grows I’ve done I would’ve seen more large mushrooms.
My first huge tub is knotting and I’m spawning two more soon so I’m real curious how the size will be. One is aa+ though and those seem to be big regardless.

Nice, I have aa+ gens but was turned off to them after I lost a tub to trich. Haven't grown them successfully yet.
I like that some people are agreeing. Makes me want to really try to create a massive block and see what happens.
It's all novelty I know... but I love the big ones, can't help it. I'm like a 50yr old pornstar who just wants to feel full lmao. Haha My largest so far is 96g wet. Lots of 80g ones too. Almost in the triple digits...
