Mushrooms changed my life 2

As far as I could think back, always suffered from Depression. In a moment of hope I decided to change my life profoundly before I turn 40 and wasted all my lifetime.
Strafing for answers on the Internet somehow the Topic Psilocybin came up, so I eagerly digest every knowledge I came across.
Reading about studies with depression treatment and the possible advantage of micro dosing Mushrooms in everyday life, thought I might give it a try.
Immediately ordered some grow kits and start with all the precautions. As soon as the package arrive I began the growing process but not only the Mushes started to grow, also the ability to feel joy grew back in me.
I got more exited with every day passed, finally found my passion. Usually when the Alarm goes of in the morning I thought maybe I could call in Sick at work or something, so I don't have to get there turning the hamster wheel.
Now I jump out the bed and rush to see after the Mushrooms to check progress, fan and moist every day. Learning from setbacks taking responsibility, overcome hurdle and enjoy the reward.
When I was at work new Ideas came up to building Mono tubes making Spore prints, expand and so on, making the work much more bearable. So much stuff is going on, every free minute I make Grain spawn or build a Growing tent, no time for bad toughs anymore.
From my first Yield I got to experiencing my first Trip which was awesome, although not overwhelming. Turns out I am somehow pretty resistant to Psilocybin, took me almost 6g GT to get some visuals. Still, have a lot of work to do with my Mindset also I am not used to relax, so I begin doing breathing exercises to clear my brain out and get rid of stress. I am eager to experience the so-called ego death or what ever you call it.
I might need a lot more than a few g´s, can't wait to get my own breed going.
But however, already found Meaning in life again, started socializing cleaned all my shit and even invited, for the first time since maybe 10 years, old friends over to my apartment and had a ton of fun. Thought I wasn't capable doing so all my feelings were always very numb the past years. Guess that is that "Magic" what it stands for.
Mission accomplished, I cannot believe this wonderful hobby is Illegal, the only person getting hurt is my alter ego.

I can completely relate with you on so many levels. I was introduced to mushrooms differently. The first time a couple of years ago at a Joshua Tree Music Festival. Not knowing how many stems to eat, I started off nibbling three or four. Not doing drugs of any kind, hit me mildly to say the least: the music, environment, the intoxicating energy. Needless to say, after four days of being there, I decided I needed to delve further into my research with mushrooms, energy, sonic waves. I now incorporate mushrooms in my meditation practice...sometimes a trip lasting 13 or 14 hours. I hadn't realized that for months, I had been purging my apartment, most especially my bedroom of things I no longer use, serve me no purpose...making more space for clarity, invite benevolent beings when I'm tripping, and of course to grow my own. I'm currently growing three strains. Portobellos being my beginning pathway. Have seven more, patiently waiting to be spawned. All I look forward to while I'm away, is pimping out my monotubs, trying to find an indoor greenhouse that will accomodate a corner of my bedroom, converted one closet into a mini grow chamber, and slowly making more room for knowledge, experience, and to cultivate a moderately healing soul. Depression being a consistent, yet draining burden is finally lifting away without the antidepressant I no longer take after so many years. Mushrooms have a way of healing a person on so many levels. The reverence with which I approach this whole lifestyle is like nothing else I have ever done in my life. Hope you continue to find comfort, peace, and a lot more joy in your journey!

Yes and Yes, most stuff I got from DIY stores, constantly adding upgrades. The thermocontroller currently monitors only the Grain spawn via a heating mat. The Hygrometer controls a Terrariumfoger for later use. The Light and the PC Fans run on a Timer.
Oh and Thanks for the good wishes, Likewise for you.
