Is this ready to spawn?

Hi everyone, first post here so please excuse me if I make some formatting errors/ this is a dumb question.
I inoculated my WBR jars on 1/30 and they exploded with growth just a few days later. I was surprised how fast everything was going my first time doing this. I shook them around 30% and they bounced back quick.
The jars have looked near 100% over the past couple days:

So today I took the jars and shook them up and this is how they look right after shaking:

Should I wait a couple of days before spawning these jars or should I go ahead and spawn them tonight? I’m just being a bit paranoid since the jars looked amazing and now they don’t even look like they have any mycelium in there.

I am new to this as well and have a jar looking like your white one.. It looks fully colonized from the outside, but if it´s going to look like it is just starting after you shake it, I will leave mine for a while longer... (but I really have no idea, just like you LOL)
this is my jar of white fluff

That is exactly how all of my jars looked, I thought they were at 100% but I guess not lol. I’ll post an updated pic tonight of them...Hopefully they’ll recolonize quick.

I just took a moment to shake my jar and it came out like yours after the shake.. I put it back in the dark and will wait for it to ´recolonize´ When it does (it should.. it´s been going fine up til now..), then I´m going to use these berries to inoculate two more jars and use the rest in a monotub which I am preparing (going to make it with horseshit pellets..). I will try to post some more pics in the coming days.
My guess would be that we´re doing everything right..
keep up the good work..
cheers, Pieter

Looks wet (could be bacterial) but you should get something from that if it passes the sniff test.

It smelled like mushrooms when I shook it. Do you think I should spawn it tonight or wait a day or so to see what it does?

What do you have on your jars? What are you using for lids?

Damn you shook your jars, when they looked like that and they looked like your second picture afterwards?? Is that normal?

If you’re spawning in the jar I would let it recover. If you’re going to bulk then hit it now, IMO.
Where are these WBR in a jar tek ideas coming from?

These jars have 4 holes and micropore tape over them.
These jars were a test before I got my pressure cooker and started doing WBS and jars with SHIPs and polyfil. The tek I used for these jars is all over reddit and called “broke boi tek”. Basically using whole brown rice as a grain and you can steam sterilize it instead of pressure cooking.
The jars are showing signs of the myc recovering. I’m going to spawn to bulk tomorrow and see how it goes.

Skip wbs if you are getting a pc learn agar and go to real grains, WBS or whole oats. Same learning curve pretty much, with greater returns when you figure it out.
You’ll lose some along the way either way, for sure.

I already have a pressure cooker and have done two rounds of WBS jars. I’ve actually got some PC’ing right now haha. I had just made these jars with brown rice when I was waiting on my PC to get here in the mail. Are you saying skip wild bird seed and just do oats?

It’s all good! These are some of the WBS jars I made. I did some with SHIPs and Polyfil, and others with just polyfil.

Update: This morning I checked them out and the myc is bouncing back! I’ll spawn them tonight.

I’m going to spawn into a 6qt unmodified shoebox with 100% coir. I was planning on just doing the shoebox, and if the fruits got tall enough I’d put a bag over it. I’ve been seeing people put their shoeboxes into monotubs and I’m wondering if that’s a better idea. And should I cut holes in the monotub and stuff it with polyfil?

Shoebox with a bag gives you better control over the moisture I think. Depending on your climate, the mono might work but if you’re going SB in mono I would suggest just a smaller mono and skip the SB.
