You’re going to watch Midsommar on acid ?
lol
Have fun with that. That movie is fucked. It’s good but it’s absolutely insane. Not something I’d personally watch dosed. But that’ll be a trip you won’t forget lol.

Ugh I remember trying to watch Enter the Void on acid one time, because it looked super visually awesome.
Bad idea.
Switched over to Being John Malkovich. Still all kinds of weird, but at least there's less miscarriages and death.

I only watch nature documentaries while tripping. Midsommar has pretty visuals though, but I'd be scared of how my brain will try to attach deeper, hidden meanings while in a psychedelic headspace.

You should give Cosmos a go if you haven't watched it while tripping yet. I like both the old and the new version, but prefer the newer one for tripping because of the visuals.

Or a tranquil hillside view with some casual suicides. Haha. Yeah, no. I'd stay away from tripping while watching that shit.

That sounds great. Definitely will give it a go. My favorites so far has been episodes from Planet Earth about the deep ocean and plant life...narrated by David Attenborough...

Oh yeah! That's probably my favorite Planet Earth episode. I also like the caves and the freshwater one a lot too.
I have a hard time watching cute furry things get killed, and those two episodes seem to steer clear of that. But I prefer aquatic based nature docs in general.

Yeah, I feel you.
Those underwater creatures also look super alien and trippy. I'll never forget the first time I saw and learned about the cuttlefish. That shit blew my mind.

Yeah, those guys are pretty intense!
I watched Parasite. Pretty cool, but weird as hell. Which is cool, to me.
8.5/10 imo.
The movie 1917 is 9/10 for me. But I dig well made war movies a lot.

I watched the Evolution of Hip-Hop docuseries on Netflix. I thoroughly enjoyed the beginning where the spotlight was on the pioneers and early events that shaped the genre. I have always thought that mainstream/more accessible hip-hop died in 1996 and watching the series really reinforced my opinion. I always blamed Puff Daddy for his straight sampling and Master P for his absurdity but watching this series makes me now think that it was the overall southern influence during that time that caused the big downward shift.

Enter the void is such a fucking downer, I watched it tripping and when it was over I felt like i deserved a prize for sitting thru it all.
I Watched Parasite and the Joker yesterday giving both 8/10

I watched a movie on Netflix that I think you might like, LogicaL Chaos. It’s called Horse Girl, starring Allison Brie. I’m not 100% certain, but I think it’s a story about schizophrenia from the perspective of the afflicted. Deals with concepts of reality vs perception, trauma, alien abduction, time lapses, cloning, conspiracies, stuff like that. It’s kind of abstract, but it’s very artfully done with great acting. Pretty good movie.
