When should I consider throwing cakes out?

Hello again guys! It has been almost a month since inoculation of 10 jars of PF Tek with GT, and as you can see in the image below, 3 or 4 are going to be ready this upcoming weekend to be birthed (bottoms of jars are completely or almost completely covered now and growth started from the top).

As you can also see, there are a couple jars near the top of the chamber aren't showing any signs of contams or anything like that, but only about a quarter/silver dollar sized patch of growth on one side. I think I'll leave them, but when would be a good time to think about throwing them out?
The rest of the jars in the middle will be ready in a couple/few weeks. I didn't take any pictures of the very very slow growing ones, but I'll leave some pictures of one of the jars that's going to be birthed this weekend (the cake is consolidating, and the shrinking is causing some dry verm to fall down the sides).

Thanks again guys! -wtfota

I dont think anyone can really tell you much with out pics of the jars you're worried about...that's slow growth for sure but if you dont have any contamination growing alongside the mycelium I would just wait...

Yeah I understand! All it is, is a normal BRF jar prepared the exact same as the other ones, that looks exactly like when it was made, except for a quarter sized patch of rhizomorphic near the center and a bit puffier towards the edges mycelium. I guess there's no harm in waiting it out, maybe the spores on the other sides weren't lucky and didn't germinate, but if it could be something else, I'd like to know!

Your one jar looks fine to me
Also, I recommend getting short half-pint wide mouth jars. The regular mouth tall ones are a pain in the ass to use.
