Dear shroomery community.
First of all, thank you for kicking ass. I learned loads just by reading the shroomery over the past few months. Now I would like your input/comments on my efforts on starting up a Cubensis grow. OK so here goes:
23-12-19
Pouring agar plates. Recipe 400ml water, 8g agar, 8g malt extract, 0.8g yeast Pouring was succesfull, no contams on plates, although a lot of condensation probably due to pouring too hot.
24-12-19
Inoculated a few plates with a 7-8 year old spore syringe. Fail, no myc, only bacteria.
27-12-19
Decided to buy a growkit (P. Cubensis, Golden teacher) from online smartshop (I live in NL ) Soaked for 12h and put into fruiting conditions.
Reason for growkit being I want to start up quickly. So opting for cloning rather than spores for the time being. I would like to clean up my own cultures later from good flushes.
21-1-20
First flush of growkit. Picked the 2 biggest shrooms and put them to agar. I used tissue from inside the stem of the shrooms. Working in SAB, flame sterilize scalpel between each plate.

27-1-20
Transfer to 2 new plates from 1 of the clone plates.
 2 days after transfer
Also made 2 more clone plates just to make sure I spread my chances Here is how the plates look after 2 weeks:

Seems like healthy growth to me. Obviously some contams on the 2nd plate here. I read to not transfer clones too often before going to grains. What do you guys recommenend to do with these plates? Clean/transfer more?
31-1-20
Rye jar sterilisation. I used RR's tek mainly: Rinsed the grains a few times until water is clear, soak for 6h, boil 10 mins, let evaporate in coriander for 30-45mins. Once steam subsided, loaded up 6 jars for a trial run. PC for 2h @15psi (started with 10min venting as recommended). Cooled over night.
Loading the jars in my brand new 23qt Presto <3
1-2-20
Knocked up jars from 2 different petris, as there is some myc growing here (CAA02 and CAB01)

Also made 1 control jar to see if PC is succesful (no inoculation, unopened)
Rye jars 1 day after inoculation
One of the jars, 2 days after inoculation. Myc is starting to reach for the grains.

5 days after inoculation (with/without flash)
5 days after inoculation, closeup of 1 of the jars
9 days after inoculation, same jar.
I put the in a dark room where our boiler is, so its around 20-24C. Not shaken yet.
3-2-20
In addition, I knocked up a few smaller jars with a slightly bigger gas exchange hole (about 1cm, stuffed with polyfill, the previous jars were 0.6-0.7 cm holes). I also put in a little bigger piece of colonized agar from these jars, hoping colonisation will be faster here. I did use the same plates as for the previous jars as there was no visible contamination. May be a mistake though..

What do you guys think? Do the jars look healthy to you? I dont have much experience yet with grains and it looks somewhat dry to me.
What about colonisation speed? Should I shake already? The 9d and 7d pics are from today.
Thanks for your comments. I will keep updating this thread as time goes by. Hopefully can knock up some shoe boxes soon. Im planning to to some G2G first from a few of the most healthy looking and fully colonized jars.
