barrel steam time and temperature for oats

Hi all,
Building a drum sterilizer for my grain bags. Have a 75x 941 and presto but all these cycles are taking too much of my time.
Ive read conflicting info. Such as 0psi steam wont get hot enough to kill endospores.
Also read of people having success. Info i have so far says 202+ internal bag temp @202f+ for 12 hours.
Is this correct? Is it possible to sterelize oats in a steamer? Ive used the search function over and over but cant find an answer that im satisfied with.
Thanks all!

I made thousands of runs with supplemented sawdust at around 1 PSI for 8 hours without a single case of contamination which couldn't be explained by pinholes in bags or faulty filters, meaning the contamination was exactly at the entry point from the atmosphere and not elsewhere, such as within the interior of the bag.
I always had sufficient autoclave space for grains so used that instead, but I suspect that 8 hours at atmospheric pressure would be sufficient. RR

Trial and error that shit and write up a Tek. 12-18 hours will probably kill the endospores. The bigger problem I see is moisture content of the grain. Not enough and the grain won't hydrate. Too much and you will have a bag of mushed oats. One thing I know is if you prep your grain the same for a 24 hour steam as you do a 2 hour PC cycle it will all be mush.

Would this method be enhanced by cooking the grains prior to sterilizing or would a sufficient soak be fine?

This can work if you autoclave your masters and use heavy g2g ratio. Or use a lot of lc per bag if that's the route you're going. Otherwise it's not very dependable even if you go 24 hour cycles

Boy were you right. TC for a reason. I switched to autoclave. Would always just mold after the first flush. I tried it, but damn, back to the small autoclave.
