Wut?
Just buy some parafilm, a roll will last forever. If you wanna leave it in a box buy a still air incubator. It will keep the temp the same with little ge. This is not necessary. If you dont plan on wrapping your plates be prepared for contams around the edges of your dishes(which is already common) and doing your transfer 2/3s colonized or slightly before. Even then contams can become airborne within the dish itself when opened contaminating your work environment inside the sab making the following transfers all more likely to be prone to the same scenario.

sometimes if I get caught in a bind I will leave transferred plates in my sab if im not going to be working on anything for a while. When I pour plates I will generally leave them in the sab unwrapped and use them as necessary. I have problems occasionally but I attribute that more to my pouring technique than them sitting unwrapped in the sab. I hate wrapping dishes.

I grab several poured plates in a stack, wind a hoop of plastic wrap around the bundle just to hold it all together, then put them back into the sleeve they came out of.

I do no pour with glass petris, I use them right after PC cools . They are always too moist and slippery to wrap, I use ziplock baggies.

You can put them in ziplock sandwich bags 3 at a time. I leave them in the SAB until used a lot of the time instead.

60mm dishes? I use 100mm, if I even could stack 3 in a sandwich bag, I don't see how you could see the plates.

The question I think was about storing them before using. And I use the 100 mm plates.
But you can innoc and store them in ziploc baggies, 2 or 3, if you don't need to look at them all while they grow.
IME GE is fine in those bags, it's the same stuff as plastic wrap. Ever wonder why you can smell what's inside the bag??
Like this here from last night:
I have a partial roll of cling wrap waiting to get sawed into parafilm like rolls but I haven't done it yet. Baggies are cheap enough.
