Describe the best visuals you've ever had on LSD and Mushrooms.

Include how you felt at the time, and maybe even what was going through your mind.

first lsd trip I saw a postman in a postal truck turn into a pig still wearing the postmans outfit... Could not stop laughing so was over run by complete awe and joy.

Seen the flower of life along with many fractal/geometric patterns full blown in my face open eye visuals on a 200ug dose of lsd and 100mg of molly (was my first molly dose ever). I felt absolutely amazing, body was tremoring in an orgasmic body load.

I've gone full on birds eye view observing the land around me on 14 grams of dried mushrooms, full on numbed to the core out of body experience.

Seen myself inside of a tv show while on a 400ug dose, also seen cartoon characters come out of my tv set and into my lounge running around. felt some type of fear but also amazed @ the same time, had to go outside to take a breather that was for sure :lolsy:

There is way too many to mention tbh :awecid:

LOL this reminds me of my mate who FREAKED TF OUT when he saw the Lucky Charms leprechaun jump out of the tv during its commercial and chase him. He eventually tried to hide under drawers that were ground level

I couldnt contain my laughter

Was on a 5 day tramp in the middle of no where, 3rd day in me and my best friend took 300ug.

The valley, trees and river swirled in fractals, everything was spiraling churning like eels in a bucket- absolutely the most beautiful moment of my life.

Time slowed down to frames later on, as my mate walked forward he left a trail of previous frames behind like when windows lag on the computer

Shit was dope, nature knows best :mushroom2:

No way I could ever put single out one visual over another - they're all so BEAUTIFUL in there own ways. But what really comes to mind is when I was laying in my hammock and looking up at the clouds - if you've never cloud watched on a good dose of mushrooms - I highly recommend it.

I love watching the grass grow! I love the fractal faces that appear in all the leaves on all the trees. On high doses, at the strongest part of the peak, these fractals can stretch back to infinity; almost sucks your breath out your lungs when they zoom backwards.

One of the scariest effects was on a 5g dose. More or less crawled into the living room so that “my wife could help me” (I was definitely dying this time!). The air in front of her face just tore like paper. A square tore out, hinged down, and revealed the void beyond. This didn’t help my fear........

Oh and just to add, one of my funniest “visuals memories”. You couldn’t make it up really. I was trying to find some photos of my tripping room to upload here. I remembered some really vibrant colourful photos I had. But I couldn’t find them anywhere; even check out deleted items and stuff like that.

Then it dawned on me when I found loads of really dark obscure shots of my room: I’d taken the photos while I was actually trippping. So at the time they looked amazing 🤣🤣🤣

I'll just go into a report, if anyone cares to read.
I'll put in bold, my TL;DR

This is about my very first experience with anything more psychedelic than cannabis : Psilocybe cubensis.
It wasn't the most hallucinogenic experience I've ever had, by any means. But it holds a dear place in my heart.

To set the mood, this is the song that has been imprinted on my mind most of my life. I designate it my theme song.
This was the album I was listening to when I experienced my first peak, and this song alleviated every bit of anxiety I had about this newfound state of mind and experience.
I love this song so much, I'll have it on repeat as I recollect this lovely day.

In a particularly rural part of the suburbs of the Mid-Atlantic, sometime just before noon on a glorious summer day,
I found myself sitting on a girlfriend's bed - baggie of these ominous-looking dried mushrooms in my lap.
They weighed heavy on my mind as I took in their innocuous form. My hands felt it. Only five grams, but with the density of a star.
As I sit there gazing upon them with my surety growing more turbulent with each passing moment,
I knew there was some obvious power lurking in their grey-brown murkiness.
A west-facing window at my back, it seemed as though the clouds covered the sky in coordination with my compounding hesitation.

Arianna's warm and embracing presence breaks my obsession.
The clouds immediately retreat to reveal a beautiful sunny day.
Smiling and eager, she lends out her hands to draw me (and our mushrooms) up from the bed and into the kitchen.
We're the sole occupants of the house, thankfully.

On the counter, she has everything for an entire afternoon picnic set up and ready to go:
Basketful of various fruits, cut vegetables, nuts, water, and some sweet tea she had steeped and iced that morning.
A small stereo and case of CDs.
Sunscreen and an umbrella.
A pipe and some kine bud.
A sketch pad and assorted markers.
And an oversized towel of a blue-and-white seigaiha pattern.
At 16 years-old, what amazing preparedness and consideration she had, I thought.
I, at 14, couldn't have asked for a more nurturing and thoughtful experience.
It wasn't even like we could go anywhere far - neither of us could drive, the nearest town was some 6 miles away on less-than-two-lane roads, and the woods only had trails made by deer through briar and poison ivy.
We were left only with the haven of the property that she lived on. And she was damn ready.

She couldn't wait any longer and I was fully grateful for her decisiveness.
We opened up the now less-than-ominous bag, eyeballed halves, and chomped them down.
Gross!
But this is the necessary fare for the ride, right?
As immediately as I swallow, I'm consumed by my first feeling of,
'Well, there's no turning back now...is there?'
Arianna, on the other hand - ever-smiling and effervescent even through faces of disgust - took them down and swigged some water. With gusto.
She gathered our provisions, loading my arms, and pulled our experience to the lush green grass of the backyard.

We set ourselves up for a nice, relaxing day in the summer sun.
Threw on some chilled-out music, laid out the blanket, poured glasses of sweet tea - honey-sweetened Darjeeling -, set up the umbrella and went to a swinging bench shaded by some Black Walnut to have a smoke.
Such magnificently dense dark green and orange-pistiled bud that really rings true almost exclusively to my adolescent days of exploring cannabis. Beasters, dank, kine bud. No whacky names or absurd potencies. Just good ol’ weed.
It was only a few moments before we were proper stoned - reduced to simply squinty eyes and giggles. Time to let the music take us, soak up the sun, and await what’s to come.

Maybe 20 minutes had gone by since imbibing on this new-to-us gag-inducing farinaceous dried matter.
The queasiness set in, amplified by every bit of particulate that found it’s way out from between my teeth. Ugh. Only so much tea can do.
No sooner did this nauseating sensation come on than Arianna pulled out some sliced apple and roasted walnuts.
So. Fucking. Prepared.
My eyes brightened and my posture roused at the sight of it. It was exactly what I needed. And she, also completely foreign to this experience, knew it.
Her smile grew with the knowing that I was relieved.
We could now relax into our high(s?) and laid back into the towel laid out over the soft grass.

With another 30 or so minutes passed, the lines between cannabis high and mushroom high were distinguishing themselves. I sat up.
My alertness grew, my palms started to sweat. Light became vivid instead of bright - I wanted to see the detail that light exposed as opposed to squint away from it.
My breathing started to undulate the world around me.
Shortly after, time lost its traction.

We were now both fully in it.
We’d share looks of understanding and go about discovering our own fascinations as they flourished.
I felt my body as it never felt before - my musculature, my bones, my hairs. They were all so impressive. And that they were mine… what an astonishing concept.
I saw every detail of every thing around me until they’d dissolve into geometric patterns in the distance.
The auras around every object, designated to their own individual being.
The critters that crawled about in the immense world that lied below the grass - they’re friends! How magnificent they are.
And here we were - two stupidly grinning and giddy children sat cross-legged on an oversized towel in a backyard in rural suburbia.
But, at that time, we weren’t just that.
We had tapped into something of an ancient knowledge. We were on an equal plane with all that is or was.

At this point, the hallucinations were really amplifying.
The CD stopped.
Oh Fuck!
Arianna quickly got up and started to try to browse through the fabric case with these odd discs of technology.
It was the only point that she got overwhelmed - she passed it to me, nearly in tears with the difficulty of the contraption.
I knew exactly what to do. It was an album I had just discovered - Portakabin Feaver by Hint.
My ability to decide was nothing short of amazing to me (even now, many years later in my sober states - I’m still kind of piss-poor at deciding things for company)
and nothing short of a heroic feat to her.
Even with the initial alarm of the opening track’s odd spoken-word vocals, it was still of much relief.
And once the music hits its stride, it’s calm, uplifting, and cinematic.
We can relax again.

And back to that oversized towel of a blue-and-white seigaiha pattern we returned.
This time, sitting down on my bent legs, I feel myself drop into the ground a little further than I thought the ground could go.
And, in a rebound, the towel bounced back up.
All the sudden, a gentle but persistent breeze picked up.
We were in an ocean of green on what can only be described as a proper magic carpet ride.
The seigaiha pattern transformed into a beautiful shelled texture that I could feel - somehow this was where the magic propulsion came from - something like the nautilus shell.
Passing by us were the chromatic ribbons of light cast from each entity’s aura and trailing geometric patterns of every shade of green and brown from the grass below and the trees beside.
The clouds above, moving appropriately fast, were puffier than I’ve ever seen and then would wisp into vapor as they’d cross into my periphery.
I felt so much like Aladdin - a poor but adept young lad with this beautiful princess of a woman beside me traveling our way through the skies into each passing horizon.

To try to put a gauge on how long I was up there would be quite impossible.
Slowly, as my peak wore off, I could feel the incremental decrease in velocity of my towel-vessel.
The green and brown geometry slowed with it and the auras dimmed.
I’d landed back on Earth, my virgin flight a complete success.

Now, we could start the impossible task of trying to explain to each other what the hell just happened.

The most glorious visual I ever had on LSD was two large pillars made out of light in my lounge room. Rainbow colours were pouring off them with energy and filling the room. Between them was the doorway into my kitchen, where I was heading to get a drink.

I dunno how I felt about that, pretty amazed. I just went and got my drink of water and continued on.

edit: this was the first and only time I have had apparitions on LSD. Was a relatively mild dose @ 200ug too. I have taken much larger doses and not experienced anything like this.

Me and a few friends were tripping a few years back and we all had a little over 5g and 2 tabs each.. YouTube was playing random songs and everyone kept coming to the few seconds in between songs.. the room was full of blacklight posters and blacklights.. kept seeing different patterns when the music was playing it was pretty intense and hard to describe.. a live version of Life's Been Good came on and literally everyone was staring in the corner with the most posters and describing a cartoon Joe Walsh concert going on.. most vivid cartoon trip I ever had.. everyone was just in awe after the song ended.. the song never hit the same after that

Sounds chill. It's always been my goal to look at a genuine naked lady on LSD or mushrooms. On DMT, though, I saw the Cartoon Network symbol and a bunch of cartoon characters run out of it towards me, and an elf hiding in the corner sitting on a box I had there on the ground.

Hmm... On mushrooms I swear I saw a life size Kermit sitting on a rock wall across the street one time.  The closer I got the more real it was, until suddenly I saw it was just some shadows. :laugh2:

But the best visuals are usually things like Mayan glyph all over the walls, stuff like that.  One time in the clouds I saw an Apollo 11 astronaut in a space suit walking while carrying a skeleton...

I don't really remember my most powerful visuals, to be honest. All of my high dose trips (6g+) have also come with very apparent amnesia. Visuals that come to mind first are the time on 4g I looked out my back window (this was during winter so all the leaves were off the trees) and my tree's branches in the backyard looked like it was an endless fractal of black cubes. It whigged me the fuck out cuz even when I moved it was still fucked up

Another one I remember was when I was coming down off of a very difficult 5g peak. I had just regained my ability to move as I was face down, unable to move on my couch in my living room. I was thinking, "holy fucking shit, these visuals!" It was like there was an overlay of rainbow colors breathing and moving across everything in the room. My shroom visuals are usually pretty minor on low to medium doses, so this was super mind blowing.

The first time I ever consumed any type of psychedelic, I was told that it was normal procedure to eat the entire 3 and a half grams of the cracker dry, bronze capped, grey and blue twisted steamed mushy I had bought off of my weed dealer whom had a bunch em.

As things kicked in, I began feeling amazing. Yet lost in my friends upstairs hallway. And so my friends allowed me to "explore", whilst laughing at me all the while. Confused, amazed, yet lost all at once. And just as things began to get visually interesting my buddy took me by my hand. Lead me down the stairs, and out the front door. Out of his house, and onto his front lawn. And out into the world.

Twas mid day, summer, was still a teenaged pothead. A kid. And just then, my head... it cracked open, and some how the lawns, sidewalks, along with the cars lined out front. The houses across the street, and the gloomy rainy sky above the scene. The entire landscape around me with which I observed transformed. Like some sort of mind blowingly perfect, stained glass window. Everything's color began to shift untill everything, along with my own self slowly shifted, and adjusted, and moved about untill finally, everything fell into it's right place. Twas the most profoundly beautiful moment of my entire life. To be shown that I was simply a small, tiny little peice, yet needed IMPORTANTLY when life must metamorphosize into an absolute perfect masterpiece of art. A living breathing, mandala, fractilization of exsistance.

And as I sat there, zoning the fuck out, tripping out of my mind for the first time ever. And just about 40 minutes after eatting my first bag of shrooms, I was already permanently altered, one with the all of nature, the universe, and with god. As the infinite void of now.  Forever....

With love and compassion,
From over here in Baltimore....

-HH

I took 8+ grams of GTs last year. I ground them up  and put them in capsules. I saw shades of colors that I can’t even describe. One point I saw multi ribbons of shapes, patterns and colors with silhouettes Of Egyptian cats and a pair of feminine eyes. The only problem was the combination of shrooms and OJ made the trip intolerable at times due to the stomach cramps.

They're like dreams, made especially for the individual.

Having said that....when I lived in CA LSD was readily available.

Walking downtown Benicia in a big leafed tree, I could see white owls perched on every branch.

All looking at me.
Then I looked again and like ancient Roman statues of people were in poses about the tree...

Oh the early years, when I could trip very hard and enjoy my head and the outer world.

Since then LSD is too heavy for me and a intense internal retrospection

Maybe I will try some again some day...

The first time I tripped I decided to walk on the beach around 11 PM. I saw several people that resembled grim reapers walking up and down the shore with a sickle and black robes on. For some reason at the time it didn't disturb me then but it sort of does now. I also saw these helix like structures that resembled ladders going upwards all around me leading upward to the sky.

I walked for 3 hours and had a lot of thoughts rushing around, mostly positive. I took a picture of a big clump of some seaweed and sent a text to myself and wrote that the seaweed was the same as me.

This was 77 grams wet.

The second time I tripped was 7 grams dry and each time I closed my eyes I saw these beautiful concentric patterns that looked like patterns I saw on blankets and architecture when I traveled through India 7 years ago. The visuals were strongest when I closed my eyes and only lasted for the duration of the Lyft ride.

I could keep on coming back here time after time, there are so many great visuals stories. I do tend to “forget” most stuff from my trips though!

One I’ve just remember, back when all we had were picked Liberty Caps. We described outdoors like Noddy’s Toy Town. That’s how all the houses and the cars used to look on LCs. People andnhouses looked also like the old 80s tv advert for Softmints, with the song Hey Mr Soft (like everything was made from foam) 👍🏻

I'll second that, Ed. Excellent post topic for the ages.

I guess that might be a common theme - we had the "Toy Neighborhood". A development across the road that, for whatever reason while on LSD, looked ridiculously small and fake to all of us. Our development maintained familiar proportions; the roads and traffic lights, too. But once we strolled on to that Meadow Drive, everything got small and toy-like. Almost like in Super Mario 64 when you'd go to the Tiny-Huge Island (for those familiar).

Many Times On LSD

The apartment complex that I lived in when I was in my heyday of LSD (or whatever was on the blotter) use had this tiny little playground.
It contained this one piece of equipment that we simply deemed 'The Pole' ( I just found out these are called Whizzy Dizzy's and I'm fucking ecstatic about that.)
So the concept is simple - grab onto one of the handles, step on the platform, and propel yourself by kicking off the ground. Centrifugal force takes care of the rest.

However...
Put three 16-year-old kids on LSD on one of these things in the middle of the night and you get a whole lot of irresponsible craziness.
We'd go as fast as you could push one of these things... which, this one at least, did not have any kind of limiter. You go pretty crazy fast when propelled by LSD-amped adolescent boys - so much that you could just hang onto the handle, let your footing go, and your body would nearly be pulled up by the force.
So we'd figured out how to fully manipulate this thing and the physical properties that made it work - draw yourself in close to the center, you go way faster; pull away from the center, you drag. Also simple.
I don't know how the hell these things are approved for playground use in these modern bubble-wrapped times.

So the most amazing aspects and tying this into hallucinations:

1. - Simply just the blurring of your vision if you took your focus away from the pole itself or the passengers on it. There was a floodlight on an adjacent building that would just stream into this ribbon that felt like it would encompass your body... like glowsticks but with the added benefit of severe disorientation and the ability to move faster and more cohesively than a human twirling them around.
2. - My absolute favorite thing was letting go and being thrown from the thing onto the bed of woodchips. Your dizziness/disorientation/lack of equilibrium would persist for probably a good minute at least (hard to say exactly). With a good starry night, you would have this spectacularly impressive light show that started as a tornado of thousands of lights streaming in unison and would gradually slow down into this beautiful cosmic ballet.
I've never really seen the stars the same since.

Combined? I found myself getting flung around various realms and coming into contact with various gods and demonic entities as I was repeatedly ripped to shreds and resurrected, at one point I became convinced that I was Vishnu, at one point I began to believe I'd broken time and my brain and eventually once I could move took a walk down to a local park and was screaming at the trees for forgiveness and felt I had received it by the time I was fully down. Beautiful trip actually 200mcg LSD and 4g shrooms (though the doses of shrooms were spaced by 3g felt it wasn't enough then the additional gram and it certainly was enough). Half the time I wasn't even aware that I was tripping and was just paralyzed on my sofa with my eyes closed.

The Whizzy Dizzy sounds awesome, footpath.

It reminds me of one of the happiest memories of my life.

I need to point out that at no point during this experience was I on psychedelics! I was very drunk, but no psychedelics.

A mate from university got married and invited a load of his uni mates to the evening reception. It was in a local squash club. For the kids, they’d set up a few bouncy castles in the squash courts; while the grown ups were upstairs in the bar drinking beer!

But about 9pm all the people with kids had gone home. Someone had the great idea and a few of us ended up in a bouncy castle court. We were running the full length of the court then launching ourselves into the air and landing in the bouncy castle. We rolled it a few times.

I have never laughed so hard nor had so much fun in my entire life.

I was aged about 22 years 🤣

after everything calms down, the most exhilliarating visuals are seeing things as they are; sparkling - in harmony - with mandalas and arabesques, natural and hyperspatial.

Night more than day, but day is very fine too.

With LSD I notice that clouds/ trees of the same genus will all look similar/have the same branching pattern, and of course they'll always swirl in the direction of their natural curves. Things appear to have films/"auras" around them when the dose gets high. I also found acid demons in my underwear when I ramped up to somewhere around 600ug over a day (very nice).

First time I had visuals on mushrooms, 2g cubensis chocolates gave me an incredible CEV of a wall of heads/skulls which was super trippy.

High doses of psilocybin will give me that red/blue/black color separation thing around everything (one of my favorites), I also had a really intense trip on a very unweighed bar of Psilocybe cyanescens where the first snacking produced intense tracers and fractals and humanoid figures that I really wanna try and draw out again (I also got cold and shakey and thought I was gonna die for a minute (don't skimp on the layers at music festivals)

Last time I hippy-flipped (2.5 tabs and .5g Ps. cyanescens) everything looked smoothed out and italicized, but then it would get all spikey and fractal, a five pointed-self repeating motif comprised of simplified humanoid figures.

Sorry for the treatise, lol.

During my most recent acid trip, my little Buddha statue came to life. Not in an absurd way but the face softened and the chest was breathing. Holding it in my hands it seemed very real and alive. I tried to take really good care of him and handle him gently lol. I thought that he woke up to help me or teach me something, so I sat there with him for a long while.

My room was looking like some kind of otherwordly cosmic landscape with huge distances, my trousers looked like worms tied together morphing. I was laughing without control, definitely one of the most awesome experiences. This was on LSD. On shrooms on the other hand I've had visions of flowers, shrooms, trees and nature elements multiplitacting in closed eyes visuals patterns and finally connecting and melting into one light - according to music that was playing in that moment and emotional state created with music.

Lsd everything was electric.

I was in my apt at the time and it felt like i was in the scene of a movie. Like the movie of my life. In one part, thinking of the past, imagining the future, felt it was all simultaneous staring in the present.

The lights werwe flickering outside as the car past at night and the poster on the wall was waving in the wind of the heat blowing. Stood there looking out the window across the room.

Indeacribable feeling. Everything flickering.

Another time i was in florida, summer night, entire sky full of stars flickering, i couldnt make out a single one so many.. Sat on the bank of the water with a fire melting over and over as it was fed all night.

One time staring at the trees waving and the clouds blowing by. Felt like hwaven on earth hearing the birds chirping and the hot sun beating down on me as the wind blew...

Riding my bike felt like i was water moving through the waves. The world at night.. Fires, stars, fireflies in the field. Magic does exist..

Too many amazing things to count in my lsd trips..

Mushrooms.. Closed eye vision quests.. Lots to count there too..

Theres nothing like it on this earth and to live without knowing it, have you really lived ? Can you really know anything about life?

Back in the hobby and saw this thread. Figured i'd go down memory lane with some visuals from the top of my head....

- first night ever tripping was lsd. the shadows were shifting across the room like a car's headlights were panning across the room from outside (but no car). the wall paper of painted flowers were spinning in sync. a painted plate was shifting and morphing nonstop and i couldnt even tell what the original picture was. the grass/trees were all growing, dying, regrowing over and over really quickly. my friends dog looked like it was decaying and growing old and getting really skinny in the matter of seconds, i had to look away from this.

- after picking fresh caps from our old field and eating 100-150 grams, a lone cloud in the night sky next to the full moon turned into two fighter jets, pointed downwards in a tight formation with amazing details. could see the rivets, the various parts of the aircraft like nose cone, cockpit etc. my friend shared the same visual. an hour later, the same cloud turned into a chinese dragon with scales and whiskers. the stars were disappearing and reappearing, forming lines in between like constellations.

- another night after eating fresh field boomers, it hit hard and i had to walk outside. as soon as i made it outside, the cement in between the bricks started morphing into various sketches of neon cartoon cats, then the glint of light in the window started morphing into vibrant spider webs. the entire back yard was fractling in towards me, and my friends face was melting/fractling uncontrollably.

- when a storm was rolling into town, the clouds were quickly changing images. started with the faces of people i didn't know, then into gravestones, then into hearts/spades/cloves etc.

- on a lucy trip, sitting across the room as it was really hitting beautifully, my record sitting across the room by the player (No Pussyfooting by Brian Eno & Robert Fripp) turned into a cafe of people walking around the image, in and out of the "room" of the cover but theres only 2 people on the cover originally, facing mirrors. a star in the sky was shifting neon colors and moving around so much i was beginning to think it was a ufo. it started making its way closer and closer in such a unique way, but eventually reset itself after i basically rubbed my eyes in disbelief, trying to test how far the visual was gonna go but it ended.

i enjoyed reading y'alls visuals/trips. makes me want to trip asap.

last night on 1/2 tab 1cplsd (quarter taken 2 days prior) with 2 tokes of mazar sharif hash, in the dark:
  • chaotic geometric colored shapes cover surfaces (oev)
  • cartoon character eyes on flourescent shapes that fill 3-d space - the air is filled with shapes over shapes made of extruding cake icing green turquoise and pink as well as dark red-brown  and dark green black linears. (oev)
  • large human like figures moving around with other forms  behind and in front - depth between, not just surface projections (oev)
  • real physical shapes transform into different expressions. (oev)
  • figures had more than one confliccting pose at the same time
  • time collapsed into all together with no resistence
  • body feeling was easy but confusingly multi moment sustained, i.e. un defineable, unnaeable sensations simultaneously there and not there, more than one way at once. (kind of like qubits meaning without decisions)

Note: This starts out as a bad trip, but it ends up being a good one.

My first time REALLY tripping on acid (took 6 times to realize my mind was too chaotic to trip, 1 tab doesn't do shit when you have serious social anxiety).

2 tabs of acid. I was having a bad trip, so I went to take a bath to calm myself down. When I looked in the mirror at my naked self, I saw all the horrible things my body had been through.

I nearly collapsed where I was standing & started sobbing, head down.

I look up in a daze, seeing myself in the mirror again.

This time, though, my face started morphing, showing thousands of different people of different ethnicity, clothing, genders. Vividly.

This calmed me down, amazing me, because I never had visuals before.

As I'm typing this I am realizing the lesson.

Although I've been through some serious shit, I am only one in billions of people. There are more people out there like me than I can imagine. I am not alone.

Also, I am who I make myself. I can be anyone I want to be. Although, I can't change my past, I can always grow into something different.

I wish I caught that memo back then, but I can appreciate the lesson now & that's all that matters.

My craziest hallucinations weren't on acid or shrooms, although I have had many on those.

One night, on about 6 pts of molly, I was laying in someones car alone. I was staring at this concrete wall full of cracks & moss. Through slits of tired half closed eyes, a story started taking shape in the style of a comic.

There were hundred of panels, hundreds of scenes, all about a medieval princess. IN COLOR. I didn't know what to take from this, so I just kept admiring the beautiful art.

The person who's car it was came back & snapped me out of this. I tried to continue, but got nothing, except a few neon lines.

I have a weird connection with this time period, I've had this memory of a "dream" since I can remember, of being that princess in the woods. A short scene, but I was older in the "dream" than when I started having this memory.

The other substance was meth.
I had to drive home high af, because my bf at the time never wanted me around.

While I was driving, I saw the shadow of a deer right in front of me. This scared the shit out of me, so I started driving slower. A few seconds later as I came over the hill, there was an actual deer in the road.

The same situation happened again with a person.

To this day, I feel "something" sent that image to me to protect me. Only explanation I can think of.

----
That same night, I was trimming weed, and in each nug I separated, there was the image of different fairy creatures, like connecting the dots in the nugs.

Which made me realize, fairies by definition are the spirits of plants.
I have a hypothesis I've built on that, based off of actual shroom trips, all relating to real science. I'll find time to elaborate on a different thread.

I typically drift through what I call The Cosmic Jellyfish, a million-mile high living fractal organism. I often see things like stained glass windows, glowing eyes and symbols from ancient civilizations. And tentacles. Lots of tentacles. Anybody else see tentacles?

I had a big surprise when I drank some ice-cold chocolate milk and it caused Jesus to appear briefly out of thin air. I think they need an ad, "Chocolate milk so good you will see Jesus!"

Seems like I'm always looking for some primordial threat or something.

If there's a rope, lines in a carpet or similar pattern on the wall, I see snakes. Every time. It's the first visual I usually have. The snake skin looks so real. Sometimes I'll see a helix, like DNA, at this point, too.

Then, trip a little harder, I start seeing eyeballs. Single eyeballs, groups of eyeballs, when I close my eyes, more eyeballs. It has something to do with facial recognition patterns, because then I see skulls all over the place.

Sometimes I see people. They'll usually have their hands over their eyes. Sometimes there's an eyeball in the center of the hand. Sometimes they're doing an inverted "Okay" sign over their eyes, like they're making fake glasses or something. Sometimes they're giving me the middle finger. It's weird.

Trip harder and the snakes I always see at first start to meld with smoke. It seems so damn real. Things begin to get complicated. The smoke will turn into something, like the snakes are showing me pictures. Clouds and faces, mostly. I believe this is where Nagas and Lamias originated, the snake hallucination combines with the facial recognition hallucinations...

Trip harder and the hairs on my arm turn into fire. Wind becomes a thunderstorm, and I might sink into the floor or bed, wherever I am at the time.

My CRAZIEST visual, though, was around this point, when I saw the snake of creation, as I understood it. It had eyes all on its sides and struck me with how much it did not care about me. Like Thomas Aquinas's leviathan, or whatever. It's cold, does not care, but continues on, snake nature I suppose.

All of my visuals have been themes in mythology, leading me to believe they're pretty common hallucinations, but I don't know anyone else who sees these things, and it's rare to find a trip report about it.

I had an unusually potent trip last week after an unusual interaction with cannabis; I saw lots of tentacles. Looking out of my bedroom window, whereas the grass normall “grows”, the bushes in mine and my neighbours garden grew.......right up to my window and started thrashing on the window trying to get at me. It wasn’t the usual tree fractals, these were really intense and damned scary. I was asking them what the heck is it you’re trying to tell me? What do I need to address? What should,I focus on? They didn’t reduce, just kept thrashing at me. Went downstairs into the conservatory; there’s a crack between my tapestry so you can just see into the back garden....they were there too trying to get in!

I knew straightaway the trip had gone south, before even seeing the fractals, tentacles etc. Basically time and space STOPPED. The visuals were unremarkable, but extremely remarkable at the same time, in that they were completely still. It was like I was trapped in a bubble that was separate to normal space-time....creepy as heck.

Stay safe folks
DJ Ed

Mr. DJ Ed, I get the feeling that you should lay off the weed during your trips lol. Seems like MJ keeps fucking with you.

If you’re smoking on the comeup to relieve anxiety, you’re not alone. I developed this super “complex” life-hack that solves this issue...stay busy for as long as you can function after you down your tea.
-Wash the dishes (my go-to)
-Play with your cat/dog
-Do your laundry
Anything that requires a moderate amount of physical activity and some concentration.

Idk what it is, but if you just keep moving around and trying to get shit done, you pretty much skip the comeup. It’s just like “whoa, ok, that’s weird” *continues washing dishes for 10-15min* “holy fuck I broke through!! Why is this water so fluffy???”

Seriously, man, try it. Sounds dumb but a lot of trial and error says it’s not.

I'll second the chores on the come-up.

Added benefit: you deep clean your sink shinier than when that shit was new.
Clothes are ironed and hung up for the week.
Pantries are chromatically organized.
Carpets have perfect vacuum lines...
Fuck... sometimes I take shrooms when I know I have a shit ton to get done around the house.
It's a good focused trip and by hour 2 you get to just lay around on your super fresh carpet.

On that note - sometimes when I enter the carpeted room with fresh vacuum lines, they'll start to form really deep chasms that I feel the need to tiptoe over and avoid falling into the abyss. Then a cat will usually stroll up with the, 'oh, you're tripping!' face on and demand I stop being a fool and drop to the floor. The chasms usually fade away at that point as all three cats appear from nowhere tempting belly rubs and the like.

This was my last night, in fact.

Also made it outside for a decent starry night.
One of my all time favorite visuals that pretty much happens without fail is the silhouettes of the trees branching/bleeding/splotching out into the blue-black gradient of the night sky. The evergreens are my favorite because they look like ink in water or a really thick marker on a porous paper. Mmm.

Cheers Feldman, footpath,

I’ll try the keeping busy on the come up. It’s only been a problem recently, though, that’s why I’ve tried to stick with it! What I reckon has happened is that i haven’t been waiting until the 2nhour mark; I’ve been switching Hawkwind off sooner and sooner.....the strongest trip I’ve ever had off 3.8g dry was 3 trips back, when I smoked at the 1.25 hour mark! Last week was the 1.5 hour mark. In the previous 4 years, I started by smoking on the come down, then during the peak, then recently before the peak!

So next trip (in a few weeks I reckon; even though away from home, I’m still feeling that pull from the mushrooms!), I’ll try doing chores and playing with the dogs and stuff until like you say the dishwater goes frothy :-), and I won’t smoke cannabis until I am definitely coming down.

I’ll let you know how it goes; though I reckon we all know it’s going to be awesome 👍🏻

❤️

Bollocks,, always messing up the reply with quote!1

Yeah, absolutely PrimalSoup; the mushrooms had nothing to teach me, apart from stop being such a dick with the before peak smoking! I was talking to them more as a distraction then believing they were trying to tell me something! Sat in the bathroom for an age, thinking f*ckin great time to get a psychosis, three days before a new job! Sat with the dogs for an age; after shouting at them for barking at the window for like the 10th time, I was then asking them to look after me! Tried everything, changing music, turning music off, changing rooms, changing clothes, talking to the mushrooms etc etc.

I have had many trips that were just trips, with no lessons, and they were equally as enjoyable as the “beneficial” trips; think I just love the headspace, whether there is anything to learn or not......

Mushrooms: One of the best Opened-Eye Visual experience involved taking too much dealer cubes on top of Mauna Kea. I took 2.4 grams of those potent dealer shrooms and that was way too much for me to handle. The visual I saw was looking at my face in the mirror, my face started to morph/swirl/animate/sway/melt in random directions and in multiple modulating neon-like colors. it was incredible. I was also terrified at the time as this was my first difficult trip and I thought I was going insane from the dealer cubes. Panic and fear were pretty high at this moment.

LSD: On my first LSD trip, I had one hit of liquid LSD at a rave. Toward the end of the trip, around the hour 10 mark, I was outdoors in a Central Oregon forest, and I was laying on my back, looking up at the clouds. The cloud itself became a highly-detailed Aztec Sun Calendar fragment with other cloud-fragment pieces moving into as well. There was an apparent 3D effect to it as well. It was one of the most beautiful things Ive ever seen. I laid there in awe as these fragments moved thru each other. I also naked ladies dancing in the sky right after that as well. That was pretty cool too. But the Aztec visual was special. Really special.

Tentacles any time I dose a tryptamine I see the being I call the cosmic octopus, he's comforting and omnipresent in my trips constantly reminding me that no matter how far I'm blasted he'll guide me back when the time comes, doesn't mean I won't get thrown for a ringer and end up screaming or totally breaking down as it's healthy to go down very dark paths from time to time but his arms in the distance remind me to let go as the demons are eating my soul.

Yep LC I often look in the mirror. Not a patch on looking in the mirror many years ago on ridiculously high liberty caps doses; my face would literally turn into a demon, very very creepy.

These days I try to find my soul looking back at me through the eyes; not sure of what I see though yet, many more experiments required 👍🏻

Hey Noonman, I'm also in Utah.

Weirdest visuals: Thousands and thousands of identical entities lined up in rows that stretched off to the horizon. They were really creepy looking things that were kind of half insect and half cephalopod. The crazy thing is that they were all dancing. The crazier thing was that they were all dancing in unison. The even crazier thing is that it was obvious that they, these countless thousands of beings, were aware of me and were doing this dance just for ME. And I could tell that they really, really wanted me to appreciate it. It was like they came from the deepest parts of my brain and were rejoicing at the opportunity to finally come out of the shadows and meet me, and show me what they can do. I was thinking, "ok, you guys are pretty damn bizarre, and even though you're kinda scaring me I'm trying to feel genuinely grateful for the enormous effort you're going to on my behalf.

yesterday - golden teachers ~2 gms
enhanced storybook and comic book characters emerging from polished concrete floors
wife and furniture covered in projected imagery of fancy colored objects and photographic characters blended together naturally, festive and carnival, although we were discussing very heavy topics emotionally and psychologically.
later
the lights on the street and vehicles at night blossomed into spectacular radial feathered rainbows, moving or stationary - and every apartment I could see (maybe 5000) twinkled in covid quiet.

Boom! So simple but I’ve never tried it! That trip I described was the penultimate trip before my “bad trip”! First one in 30 years. Best part was, in my 4th hour of the horrible peak, wifey said “you’ll be alright in the morning. Good night.........”

I tried to go to sleep. Turned lights off, got under the quilt, quilt instantly started suffocating me....

Don’t get me wrong TBA, even with 30+ years experience, I still get shit scared. I have just learned not to panic!

Someone above talks about the rows and rows of identical entities all lined up, all scary, but all dancing for you.... I always get them. Although they look scary, I welcome them. It’s almost like they’re a huge pack of overgrown puppy Rottweilers from hell! But they are lol fluffy deep down nd only want to play.

When the trip is really intense, or bad, they’re almost like overgrown puppies! Like you no longer trust that they’re puppies, nd maybe this time they are going to bite........

Mush love
DJ Ed

Mushrooms and a small dose of 1p-lsd.
I was tripping with my best friend,it was night and we was looking out of a window.. i took a deep breath, to calm my state of mind and suddenly he looked at me quite shocked.. I asked him why he was so surprised and he said, "i saw blue smoke coming out of your mouth when you exhaled".

I look in the mirror every single time. It’s sort of like a gauge. I know where I’m at based on my appearance. Strangely, I feel like my “trip” appearance in the mirror is my true appearance. I think all the bull shit that life puts on you distorts self image.. maybe for everyone. This is especially true of people with eating disorders and severe image disorders IMO. They just are not seeing themselves.

I have a recurring visual that I feel may be my favorite, not necessarily the best but when it appears I’m usually in a good place. It is a CEV of infinite lines of marching shroom soldiers marching towards me. They are simple line art and very stereotypical of a psychedelic experience. Rainbow line art on a black background. Marching mushrooms gets me every time. I’m not sure but I think it only appears when I’m listening to music.

I seem to get the most distinct visuals from lsd. Regular stuff like going to 2d and your whole feild of visions meshes together bright colors etc. Popcorn ceilings are fun.
