Describe the best visuals you've ever had on LSD and Mushrooms.

Include how you felt at the time, and maybe even what was going through your mind.

first lsd trip I saw a postman in a postal truck turn into a pig still wearing the postmans outfit... Could not stop laughing so was over run by complete awe and joy.

Seen the flower of life along with many fractal/geometric patterns full blown in my face open eye visuals on a 200ug dose of lsd and 100mg of molly (was my first molly dose ever). I felt absolutely amazing, body was tremoring in an orgasmic body load.

I've gone full on birds eye view observing the land around me on 14 grams of dried mushrooms, full on numbed to the core out of body experience.

Seen myself inside of a tv show while on a 400ug dose, also seen cartoon characters come out of my tv set and into my lounge running around. felt some type of fear but also amazed @ the same time, had to go outside to take a breather that was for sure :lolsy:

There is way too many to mention tbh :awecid:

LOL this reminds me of my mate who FREAKED TF OUT when he saw the Lucky Charms leprechaun jump out of the tv during its commercial and chase him. He eventually tried to hide under drawers that were ground level

I couldnt contain my laughter

Was on a 5 day tramp in the middle of no where, 3rd day in me and my best friend took 300ug.

The valley, trees and river swirled in fractals, everything was spiraling churning like eels in a bucket- absolutely the most beautiful moment of my life.

Time slowed down to frames later on, as my mate walked forward he left a trail of previous frames behind like when windows lag on the computer

Shit was dope, nature knows best :mushroom2:

No way I could ever put single out one visual over another - they're all so BEAUTIFUL in there own ways. But what really comes to mind is when I was laying in my hammock and looking up at the clouds - if you've never cloud watched on a good dose of mushrooms - I highly recommend it.

I love watching the grass grow! I love the fractal faces that appear in all the leaves on all the trees. On high doses, at the strongest part of the peak, these fractals can stretch back to infinity; almost sucks your breath out your lungs when they zoom backwards.

One of the scariest effects was on a 5g dose. More or less crawled into the living room so that “my wife could help me” (I was definitely dying this time!). The air in front of her face just tore like paper. A square tore out, hinged down, and revealed the void beyond. This didn’t help my fear........

Oh and just to add, one of my funniest “visuals memories”. You couldn’t make it up really. I was trying to find some photos of my tripping room to upload here. I remembered some really vibrant colourful photos I had. But I couldn’t find them anywhere; even check out deleted items and stuff like that.

Then it dawned on me when I found loads of really dark obscure shots of my room: I’d taken the photos while I was actually trippping. So at the time they looked amazing 🤣🤣🤣

I'll just go into a report, if anyone cares to read.
I'll put in bold, my TL;DR

This is about my very first experience with anything more psychedelic than cannabis : Psilocybe cubensis.
It wasn't the most hallucinogenic experience I've ever had, by any means. But it holds a dear place in my heart.

To set the mood, this is the song that has been imprinted on my mind most of my life. I designate it my theme song.
This was the album I was listening to when I experienced my first peak, and this song alleviated every bit of anxiety I had about this newfound state of mind and experience.
I love this song so much, I'll have it on repeat as I recollect this lovely day.

In a particularly rural part of the suburbs of the Mid-Atlantic, sometime just before noon on a glorious summer day,
I found myself sitting on a girlfriend's bed - baggie of these ominous-looking dried mushrooms in my lap.
They weighed heavy on my mind as I took in their innocuous form. My hands felt it. Only five grams, but with the density of a star.
As I sit there gazing upon them with my surety growing more turbulent with each passing moment,
I knew there was some obvious power lurking in their grey-brown murkiness.
A west-facing window at my back, it seemed as though the clouds covered the sky in coordination with my compounding hesitation.

Arianna's warm and embracing presence breaks my obsession.
The clouds immediately retreat to reveal a beautiful sunny day.
Smiling and eager, she lends out her hands to draw me (and our mushrooms) up from the bed and into the kitchen.
We're the sole occupants of the house, thankfully.

On the counter, she has everything for an entire afternoon picnic set up and ready to go:
Basketful of various fruits, cut vegetables, nuts, water, and some sweet tea she had steeped and iced that morning.
A small stereo and case of CDs.
Sunscreen and an umbrella.
A pipe and some kine bud.
A sketch pad and assorted markers.
And an oversized towel of a blue-and-white seigaiha pattern.
At 16 years-old, what amazing preparedness and consideration she had, I thought.
I, at 14, couldn't have asked for a more nurturing and thoughtful experience.
It wasn't even like we could go anywhere far - neither of us could drive, the nearest town was some 6 miles away on less-than-two-lane roads, and the woods only had trails made by deer through briar and poison ivy.
We were left only with the haven of the property that she lived on. And she was damn ready.

She couldn't wait any longer and I was fully grateful for her decisiveness.
We opened up the now less-than-ominous bag, eyeballed halves, and chomped them down.
Gross!
But this is the necessary fare for the ride, right?
As immediately as I swallow, I'm consumed by my first feeling of,
'Well, there's no turning back now...is there?'
Arianna, on the other hand - ever-smiling and effervescent even through faces of disgust - took them down and swigged some water. With gusto.
She gathered our provisions, loading my arms, and pulled our experience to the lush green grass of the backyard.

We set ourselves up for a nice, relaxing day in the summer sun.
Threw on some chilled-out music, laid out the blanket, poured glasses of sweet tea - honey-sweetened Darjeeling -, set up the umbrella and went to a swinging bench shaded by some Black Walnut to have a smoke.
Such magnificently dense dark green and orange-pistiled bud that really rings true almost exclusively to my adolescent days of exploring cannabis. Beasters, dank, kine bud. No whacky names or absurd potencies. Just good ol’ weed.
It was only a few moments before we were proper stoned - reduced to simply squinty eyes and giggles. Time to let the music take us, soak up the sun, and await what’s to come.

Maybe 20 minutes had gone by since imbibing on this new-to-us gag-inducing farinaceous dried matter.
The queasiness set in, amplified by every bit of particulate that found it’s way out from between my teeth. Ugh. Only so much tea can do.
No sooner did this nauseating sensation come on than Arianna pulled out some sliced apple and roasted walnuts.
So. Fucking. Prepared.
My eyes brightened and my posture roused at the sight of it. It was exactly what I needed. And she, also completely foreign to this experience, knew it.
Her smile grew with the knowing that I was relieved.
We could now relax into our high(s?) and laid back into the towel laid out over the soft grass.

With another 30 or so minutes passed, the lines between cannabis high and mushroom high were distinguishing themselves. I sat up.
My alertness grew, my palms started to sweat. Light became vivid instead of bright - I wanted to see the detail that light exposed as opposed to squint away from it.
My breathing started to undulate the world around me.
Shortly after, time lost its traction.

We were now both fully in it.
We’d share looks of understanding and go about discovering our own fascinations as they flourished.
I felt my body as it never felt before - my musculature, my bones, my hairs. They were all so impressive. And that they were mine… what an astonishing concept.
I saw every detail of every thing around me until they’d dissolve into geometric patterns in the distance.
The auras around every object, designated to their own individual being.
The critters that crawled about in the immense world that lied below the grass - they’re friends! How magnificent they are.
And here we were - two stupidly grinning and giddy children sat cross-legged on an oversized towel in a backyard in rural suburbia.
But, at that time, we weren’t just that.
We had tapped into something of an ancient knowledge. We were on an equal plane with all that is or was.

At this point, the hallucinations were really amplifying.
The CD stopped.
Oh Fuck!
Arianna quickly got up and started to try to browse through the fabric case with these odd discs of technology.
It was the only point that she got overwhelmed - she passed it to me, nearly in tears with the difficulty of the contraption.
I knew exactly what to do. It was an album I had just discovered - Portakabin Feaver by Hint.
My ability to decide was nothing short of amazing to me (even now, many years later in my sober states - I’m still kind of piss-poor at deciding things for company)
and nothing short of a heroic feat to her.
Even with the initial alarm of the opening track’s odd spoken-word vocals, it was still of much relief.
And once the music hits its stride, it’s calm, uplifting, and cinematic.
We can relax again.

And back to that oversized towel of a blue-and-white seigaiha pattern we returned.
This time, sitting down on my bent legs, I feel myself drop into the ground a little further than I thought the ground could go.
And, in a rebound, the towel bounced back up.
All the sudden, a gentle but persistent breeze picked up.
We were in an ocean of green on what can only be described as a proper magic carpet ride.
The seigaiha pattern transformed into a beautiful shelled texture that I could feel - somehow this was where the magic propulsion came from - something like the nautilus shell.
Passing by us were the chromatic ribbons of light cast from each entity’s aura and trailing geometric patterns of every shade of green and brown from the grass below and the trees beside.
The clouds above, moving appropriately fast, were puffier than I’ve ever seen and then would wisp into vapor as they’d cross into my periphery.
I felt so much like Aladdin - a poor but adept young lad with this beautiful princess of a woman beside me traveling our way through the skies into each passing horizon.

To try to put a gauge on how long I was up there would be quite impossible.
Slowly, as my peak wore off, I could feel the incremental decrease in velocity of my towel-vessel.
The green and brown geometry slowed with it and the auras dimmed.
I’d landed back on Earth, my virgin flight a complete success.

Now, we could start the impossible task of trying to explain to each other what the hell just happened.

The most glorious visual I ever had on LSD was two large pillars made out of light in my lounge room. Rainbow colours were pouring off them with energy and filling the room. Between them was the doorway into my kitchen, where I was heading to get a drink.

I dunno how I felt about that, pretty amazed. I just went and got my drink of water and continued on.

edit: this was the first and only time I have had apparitions on LSD. Was a relatively mild dose @ 200ug too. I have taken much larger doses and not experienced anything like this.

Me and a few friends were tripping a few years back and we all had a little over 5g and 2 tabs each.. YouTube was playing random songs and everyone kept coming to the few seconds in between songs.. the room was full of blacklight posters and blacklights.. kept seeing different patterns when the music was playing it was pretty intense and hard to describe.. a live version of Life's Been Good came on and literally everyone was staring in the corner with the most posters and describing a cartoon Joe Walsh concert going on.. most vivid cartoon trip I ever had.. everyone was just in awe after the song ended.. the song never hit the same after that

Sounds chill. It's always been my goal to look at a genuine naked lady on LSD or mushrooms. On DMT, though, I saw the Cartoon Network symbol and a bunch of cartoon characters run out of it towards me, and an elf hiding in the corner sitting on a box I had there on the ground.

Hmm... On mushrooms I swear I saw a life size Kermit sitting on a rock wall across the street one time.  The closer I got the more real it was, until suddenly I saw it was just some shadows. :laugh2:

But the best visuals are usually things like Mayan glyph all over the walls, stuff like that.  One time in the clouds I saw an Apollo 11 astronaut in a space suit walking while carrying a skeleton...

I don't really remember my most powerful visuals, to be honest. All of my high dose trips (6g+) have also come with very apparent amnesia. Visuals that come to mind first are the time on 4g I looked out my back window (this was during winter so all the leaves were off the trees) and my tree's branches in the backyard looked like it was an endless fractal of black cubes. It whigged me the fuck out cuz even when I moved it was still fucked up

Another one I remember was when I was coming down off of a very difficult 5g peak. I had just regained my ability to move as I was face down, unable to move on my couch in my living room. I was thinking, "holy fucking shit, these visuals!" It was like there was an overlay of rainbow colors breathing and moving across everything in the room. My shroom visuals are usually pretty minor on low to medium doses, so this was super mind blowing.

The first time I ever consumed any type of psychedelic, I was told that it was normal procedure to eat the entire 3 and a half grams of the cracker dry, bronze capped, grey and blue twisted steamed mushy I had bought off of my weed dealer whom had a bunch em.

As things kicked in, I began feeling amazing. Yet lost in my friends upstairs hallway. And so my friends allowed me to "explore", whilst laughing at me all the while. Confused, amazed, yet lost all at once. And just as things began to get visually interesting my buddy took me by my hand. Lead me down the stairs, and out the front door. Out of his house, and onto his front lawn. And out into the world.

Twas mid day, summer, was still a teenaged pothead. A kid. And just then, my head... it cracked open, and some how the lawns, sidewalks, along with the cars lined out front. The houses across the street, and the gloomy rainy sky above the scene. The entire landscape around me with which I observed transformed. Like some sort of mind blowingly perfect, stained glass window. Everything's color began to shift untill everything, along with my own self slowly shifted, and adjusted, and moved about untill finally, everything fell into it's right place. Twas the most profoundly beautiful moment of my entire life. To be shown that I was simply a small, tiny little peice, yet needed IMPORTANTLY when life must metamorphosize into an absolute perfect masterpiece of art. A living breathing, mandala, fractilization of exsistance.

And as I sat there, zoning the fuck out, tripping out of my mind for the first time ever. And just about 40 minutes after eatting my first bag of shrooms, I was already permanently altered, one with the all of nature, the universe, and with god. As the infinite void of now.  Forever....

With love and compassion,
From over here in Baltimore....

-HH

I took 8+ grams of GTs last year. I ground them up  and put them in capsules. I saw shades of colors that I can’t even describe. One point I saw multi ribbons of shapes, patterns and colors with silhouettes Of Egyptian cats and a pair of feminine eyes. The only problem was the combination of shrooms and OJ made the trip intolerable at times due to the stomach cramps.

They're like dreams, made especially for the individual.

Having said that....when I lived in CA LSD was readily available.

Walking downtown Benicia in a big leafed tree, I could see white owls perched on every branch.

All looking at me.
Then I looked again and like ancient Roman statues of people were in poses about the tree...

Oh the early years, when I could trip very hard and enjoy my head and the outer world.

Since then LSD is too heavy for me and a intense internal retrospection

Maybe I will try some again some day...
