Colinizing at 2 Different Speeds, halp! 1

The one on the left has more on the bottom and just started popping up in the middle, so I’m assuming the middle is more colonized, seeing as that’s where it was injected. I’m sure the one on the right should be shaken or massaged or whatever you do to bags, but I’m concerned that the other may not be ready. What do you guys think? Should I shake both? Just one? Don’t shake at all?

There’s actually a baseball size knot in middle of grain. Can’t see by just the pic.

Was this from spores or LC? Personally I'd shake them both now. If there are contams that will ruin it present you'll find out soon. If not it should jump into action. Worst case scenario you lose a bit of grain to green, waste a few hours, and a couple bucks learning something new. It takes a long time for spore/LC injections to fully colonize grain bags of that size without shaking them. Often they get funky in that amount of time and don't produce well if at all.
Spores on grain is a slot machine. you might win. People have. Definitely get into working with agar if you plan to use grain as a spawn very often or with consistent results. Good luck

How old are they??
Ones probably contaminated if they’re the same set up.
I’d definitely mix them up it speeds things up incredibly and if there’s something bad in there you’ll find out now instead of weeks from now.

Update: shook both bags and they exploded with fuzzy goodness!! Also a 3 lb bag that I had given up on 3 weeks after being knocked up. Found a little knot in the middle, shook and looks to be fully colonized in a week or so, thanks everyone for the help!!
That brought me to the next question though, as I guess I’ll pick up all the little nuances along the way. But I layered 1 lb rye with Verm/coir bulk in monotub. Good fuzzies already!! 3 days ago. My question is do I need to cover the holes of the monotub to prevent FAE during initial colonization of substrate or is it ok to have FAE during this phase?

It's OK to have FAE with colonizing monotubs. I do those pastywhyteEZdial style tubs and don't use tape or poly or nothin.

If there is contams shaking it well just show that for sure because it won't recover correctly.

I’m not sure if it shows who I’m replying to when I reply to questions on here! I can’t figure it out :/.
Anyway, it was from spores, Not LC.

Thanks everyone for all the great help! Everything looks good so far! (At least I think it does). This is from the 1 lb bag of rye that was mostly colonized in first pic. I I mixed spawn with Verm/coir (bucket tek) 3 days ago. This is my first grow btw, so it’s all new to me.
I wound up taping over holes yesterday but after reading comments that may not be necessary. I gathered from everything I read that I should let CO2 build up for a week or so and then expose to FAE and light simultaneously but it doesn’t look like it matters that much from what I’ve seen. Might be wrong though, so Please correct me if I am.
Does this look like it’s supposed to? I know it’s hard to see because it’s through the tub that has condensation.
That lead me to another thought: what causes those white balls to grow on top of mushie cap? Is that too much FAE? Not enough FAE?
Also, can I open lid during colonization or will it contam?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah you can open the lid. You opened it when you spawned it right? So tons of contams already got I there. As long as you got clean spawn you be fine.
Also its not like that tote has a very good seal.
