Meh, I never much cared for the clarinet. It's a personal thing, I suppose. Just don't really like the timbre.

I played the bass clarinet. It's like a sax clarinet hybrid kinda

Agree. It can be done but you have to be a level 100 wizard to get a nice sound out of a clarinet.
I play sax though so I'm biased...

The flute rocks!
