It's been raining!
    #26475600 - 02/08/20 02:23 PM (3 years, 11 months ago)

Can anyone help me identify these beautiful mulch lovers I found this morning in SE QLD.

Cheers.

Additionally, are they the same as these I found sprouting from an abandoned pot in my backyard?

They look like a species of Leucocoprinus, although I can't say which one with certainty.

Maybe L. fragilissimus?

Beautiful pictures, I might have to nominate one of them for February's "Pic of the month" thread.

Leucocoprinus fragilissimus has a thinner stem, I think this is in the L. birnbaumii group, likely Leucocoprinus tricolor.

I agree with Leucocoprinus birmbaumii group but that's as close as I can get.

Too funny!  I've often misidentified volcanic rock landscaping for wood chips (from afar).  Maybe I should give these rocks more attention??  :smirk:
