Yeah they were either way too dry, way too wet, or pinned because of contamination and lost the battle before maturity.

That said pick them now and make tea if you think it was contam. If you let them sit much longer they go soft.

If they go soft, what's the danger there? Mold eventually? Picked these right after pic and fried them. In double bagged and freezer now.
