Regarding Nancy Pelosi's Behavior At the State of the Union... 1

I have to ask this, specifically to liberals. Because I am absolutely embarrassed for my party after Madame Speaker tore up the State of the Union Address the other day. I get why she did it, the frustration borne of a complete unwillingness from the right to even consider any wrongdoing on the part of their cult leader and his political sycophants. Not to mention his rude snub of her handshake on national TV.
So what are all of your thoughts on this?

With arms wide open, "welcome to the poliforum".
Take some time to read the threads already here, as you will find this question has been asked.

I liked when Sinead O'Connor tore up the picture of the Pope, so I'm partial to this sort of thing. Not the current Pope though. He's cool.

Holy shit, I forgot about that...was on SNL or something. Funny how "controversial" that was back in the day.

Wow I forgot all about the Sinead O'Connor incident. I guess liberals are not in agreement on this issue, because in my honest opinion, all Pelosi did with that infantile, childish action was to give Republicans yet more ammunition against us, but more importantly, that picture is going to do a lot to add even more unity to the Republicans, and I bet will be good for raising millions of dollars for Trump's 2020 re-election bid.
Its not that I don't agree with the spirit of her action. I mean, as Speaker, she and her fellow dems spent all this time on an impeachment that, despite all of our hopes, was never going to remove Trump from office. Ever. All his despicable behavior, the lies, the crackpot conspiracy theories he and his cronies have sold to a willing audience of tens of millions of conservatives. Culminating in her offering to shake his hand, sitting right behind him only to have Trump snub her on national TV. I get how she could have given into her angry impulses. I just think that we need to expect more from our leaders than petulant, childish, adolescent tantrum. No matter how well deserved that tribal part of us may think it may have been.

Nancy Pelosi did this for instagram and twitter meme pics. That's it. She has been very supportive (in her legislative actions) of the Trump administration. It's all a fucking show, as was the impeachment.
According to wikipedia that bitch is worth $120 million. As Harry Truman said 'Show me a rich politician, and I'll show you a crook'... Certainly applicable to this old bitch.

Bernie Sanders is worth 2.5 mil . Most people would consider that rich , especially for a socialist.

That's nothing for his Congressional salary. Do you think they should pay "socialist" Congressmen less?

Most of Pelosi's net worth is her husbands money.
I'm seeing 2 million for Sanders and that is 8 times more than Mayor Pete, so does that mean Pete is more honest. I don't. I don't think this stuff is important.
I pay attention to where their political donations are coming from, do they cheat on their taxes, etc., actual ethical issues.

The key difference is, Bernie made his money from his salary, as a senator, and from writing a best selling book. Not from being a fuckin crony piece of shit.
$2.5 million is a drop in the bucket compared to 12% of a Billion fucking dollars.

If the clout of a politician is based on a lack of wealth, one would have to admire Trump for being broke as fuck.

It is important. It's important that Biden's son was making an obscene amount of money, from a company that wanted access to Biden. I don't know how Pelosi's husband made a huuuuuundred tweeeentttttyyy miiiiillllion fucking dollars, but there is no way in hell that his fortune did not benefit from Nancy Pelosi being Nancy Pelosi. I don't believe that for a fucking second.
This shit does matter. I know exactly where Bernie's paultry 2 million came from. Senators make over $200,000 a year, dude. He's been a senator for 30+ fuckin years.

99.9% of the time I absolutely hate everything that Nancy Pelosi does She is truly the Democratic Trump. That being said that State of the Union Address comes at a time when Trump just committed an impeachable act and got off Scott free because of partisan hackery. Lie about the investigation and also the general welfare of the United States that State of the Union Address means nothing except a victory speech For something that's barely a victory and more a rigged result

John Kerry is worth 250 million dollars. Almost all of that is from his wife, the heiress to the Heinz ketchup fortune. She is actually worth 3 or 4 times that but most of it is in a trust. Did she benefit from Kerry steering all the government ketchup business her way? If not then I don't see any support for your position that Pelosi's husband made his money off Nancy. Her husband is a real estate mogul and an investor. California is a community property state. What's his is hers. It's possible that he could have benefitted from her at some point, but she has clearly benefitted from his wealth.
If you want to make allegations about Pelosi's money, support them with evidence not feelings.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Getting advantages from being in positions of power is part of the game. You know powerful people. Nothing wrong with running in groups with powerful people.
What and if you do things for powerful people are what matters.
I get better healthcare because I'm a nurse and know which doctors are better.
Cook at Outback gets better steak because he knows who orders the steak.
Employee at Checkers gets better fries because they know who cooks them.
No harm here. Just reality.
