Still no luck even with the wet and warmth
My only patch hasn't produced even another singular mushroom, lacrymaria or otherwise.
Very annoying..I mean damn, the day I found this patch was the coldest day of the last quarter of 2019. We've had levels more rain and warmth since then and nada.

My spot was completely flooded today in ways I've never seen before. And I suspect that I'll find ovoids there too. It's like nature giving a reset. The coming seasons could have things spread all over. Seriously some big time flooding.

As Doc said we are so due this year. I ended up with 3 inches of snow on Saturday. This rain is nuts and we are just getting more. I took a walk yesterday which included known spots. Nada, wasn't expecting anything but thought I'd pass it along. Cheers!

Do you guys have any spots in Floyd County? I’m new to all of this but thought I would give it a shot and see if I can’t find anything this year. Definitely a newbie though so may not have much luck.

Didn’t expect personal spots or anything. More so just trying to see if anyone has had any luck in the area.

Youd have to look through old threads use the search bar. Or look at mushroomobserver.org

Thanks for the responses. Is it worth hunting for anything right now or has it still been to cold?

Keep your eyes open when you're hiking around and whatnot, but it's unlikely that you'll find anything now. I'm not in GA anymore, but I never had much luck this early, even when checking known spots during good mushroom weather.
