Do you have a green thumb? * 1
    #26470828 - 02/05/20 06:04 PM (4 years, 11 days ago)

Im so hyped for spring because I have a HUGE green thumb. I love mainly growing flowers and cacti but nothing is off the table. I like growing different things every year. Damn near every thing I want always grows and does well. How about you guys? What are you all going to grow this year?(not talking just cannabis) I haven't decided myself this year. I have weed and aloe vera both started from seed so far. Thinking maybe sunflowers and gladiolus this year flowerwise :hippie:

Edit: OMG I know what im going to grow....
Magnolia champaca so I can make my own champa fragrances :mindblown:

Working on a seed rack now. Will be able to fit 840 2.5" cells on it. And i plan on planting that many seeds:lol:

Got some tricho seeds coming, passion flower, desmanthus, and a few other ethnos.

Then ill be starting a plethora of veggies. My buddy bought 5 different kinds of hot pepper he wants to try when i told him my plans . Then ill have broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, basil, cilantro, peanuts, and anything else i find interesting when i go to buy seeds.

Should have a bangin garden this year :lookslucrative:

Cant wait only a couple weeks till seed sowing time :fuckyeahdance:

Hahaha sounds like my best friend. He is worse than me. Last year he grew gourds on accident and just kept them growing and gave all gourds to an old lady on town who hand paints them into bird houses and whatnot lol

Edit: ahab knows whats up :rockman:

I’m not gonna say I have a greenthumb; I’d give that distinction to a crazy good gardener like my grandmother was.  But I do okay with it.  Every year I grow a bunch of veggies & herbs, the last couple years I’ve gotten more into just growing flowers that look nice.  Grow some drug plants like poppies & I have my cacti collection.  Funny you bring this up, just today I took a look through the Burpee seed catalog, planning the stuff I’m gonna order this month to get plants started for Spring.

I can raise a vegetable to the table from just a seed. Anyone who does vegetable gardening knows how challenging it can be, anyone who has never done it probably thinks it's as easy as putting a seed in some dirt and watering it.

When I started gardening I really bit off a lot more than I could chew. I think I had 2 4x24 beds and one 4x12. Plus a bunch of stand alone planters. I grew and rotated crops for summer and winter. I had pretty much every root vegetable, corn, tomatoes, peppers, melons, berries (their own bed separate from my rotating beds mentioned above) broccoli, chard (greens), green beans, peas, cucumbers be (for homemade pickles) etc.

The two things that pissed me off the most? Stink bugs and squash vine borer. Once they showed up, didn't matter what I did, the party was over. I'd spend hours a day babying the plants they mess with and it didn't matter. Hand picking 50+ eggs from squash vines that are barely visible in the best of circumstances... Picking off 100 stink bug babies from a mass of 6 foot tomato plants. Ugh.. fuck those two.

I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today.
Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear.
I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear.

Yeah my thumb isn't green for the record but it's 2020 and quite frankly I'm offended that it would even matter what color my thumb is
