That’s best said.

I use mantras when coming on heavy doses and entering in DMT realms. Just keep saying them again and again from when it starts building until the waves pass. Seems simplistic, it really is, but it works as well.
Sometimes I get dread and anxiety post heavy trips as well. It happens... but it passed with time as the trips integrate. We can't really expect to get that far into the soup and come out clean. It just takes a while for it all to come right afterwards. Mindfulness about what we really think about what we are feeling is key here. Then to be able to separate thoughts from feelings. Being able.to rationalise doesn't necessarily make the feelings to away, but it does remove the fear element.

What a great community we have here, honestly.
You've got some great advice here. Nothing less of what I can add into words. There's always next time.. as intimidating as it is after a difficult experience, never let it steer you away from one of the most beautiful things.
I too, have been torn apart by mushrooms - but able to put myself together so much more beautifully. Everyone has had experinces of fear and feeling like they're dying. Mine wasn't so much dying, it was constant thought loops that made me feel like I was stuck in in time. Not sure if you ever watched the Netflix Series "Black Mirror" - when the guy was a prisoner in the cabin... and at the end of the episode the radio kept reparing and reliving the same moment over and over - that's what it felt like while I was walking through the woods.
It fucked me up hard. But, when I finally found an opening in the woods by water, I sat down and everything turned completely opposite. I was so happy and cherishing everything. Sometimes you gotta have the biggest lows to enjoy the highs.
Sending good vibes your way!
