Contamination or bruising?
    #26467580 - 02/03/20 09:14 PM (3 years, 11 months ago)

After reading the contamination sticky I have hope that what I am seeing is the result of dehydration bruising but as a first timer I feel the need to seek opinions. In the last few days I noticed a bit of blue/green tint on some of mycelium, as seen in the pictures. Also similar tinting on the base of the largest fruit.  Any input is appreciated.

Hard to tell from the pic but looks like some of the trich  I just ran into. Try a mist of diluted h202 and if it doesn't go away it's prolly trich

Looks like bruising. Esp on the fruit. Are you misting the cakes directly? Could be bruising from that or dehydration.

Trich generally shows up more green and you’ll know if it takes over in a few days or less.
Might be a good precautionary measure to isolate if you have other cakes in the same tub.

Also, I’d hold off on the H202 until you know more. It wouldn’t be a solution for trich anyway.
