Sun today after a few days of rain. NWWashington. No slime, base of stems looked blue when picked then turned white soon after. Caramel/tawny color of caps faded to a light buff soon after picking. Spore print shown looks light brown. Found in coniferous decay/grass/moss...younger ones were size of a dime...older wavy ones were half dollar size. Just the one patch of approximately 50. Only picked these few till they get ID'd. Thanks!

Maybe they could be GM's,I'm not the expert, but, with the info I gave in previous post, they don't match the description, color, odor, sporeprint, or season of GM's. And as you can see in a side by side pic, they don't look alike. Any further ID possibilities anyone?
- Galerina Marginata
-picked 5/5
-all the same shroom patch picked on 5/5

They appear to be a Galerina species. I should mention that there are three hundred or so species of Galerina.
mj
A third poisonous Galerina is G. venenata A.H.S.
This species is common on lawns whereas G. autumnalis and G. marginata grow in decaying woody debris. However, all three species have been found in both habitats iont he PNW. may ny lawn areas are sometimes covered with woodchips and beauty bark and vice-versa.

I concur with the rest... Those are some picture perfect Galerinas. Not sure which species, but the genus Galerina has some of the most deadly mushrooms in it. Definately throw those out.
