Pre-Mushroom Hunt Exploring in GA 1

Hello,
I'm new to mycology and mushroom hunting, but I wanted to get acquainted with experienced people so that's why I'm here. I'm located in the northern part of Georgia, and I am pre-planning my mushroom hunts for the Spring time.
I went out today to search for some locations where I may have some luck finding psilocybe when it becomes April or May.
Please refer to the attached photos that I took. These pine trees appear to have damage from beetles. I have heard that this is potentially a good sign for weilii habitat.
I am just looking for confirmation on this, and if anyone has seen similar things around their mushroom finds.
Thank you.

Phyllotopsis subnidulans is what is pictured. Ive never seen these right next to caerulescens and would need a more wider photo of your habitat to say if they could grow there.

this is cultivated Psilocybe cubensis, next time start your own I'd request, hijacking someone else's thread can cause problems that could result in accidental poisoning.

You posted in two differnt threads with the same thing.
Theres a tab above all the threads that says "post new thread" or just "post" thats what you want

Thanks for the response. I will try to get some photos of the surrounding habitat next time I go out. Overall, there are many downed/rotting pines, pine cones, and pine needles over red clay-rich soil.
