do i need to Tape my holes filled with polyfill while colinizing? or just fill with polyfill and put away?

Can find what youre after in there, i myself have no experience with "standard monos"[holes in the tub]
But i do know some folks use only the micropore tape in layers to dial it in and in that way avoid having their fruits grow into the polyfill cause apparently its a bi*ch to remove if it does haha

well my question is, after I fill with polyfill do I need to tape over it? Or can I just put away like that...

No, once the hole has polyfil you don’t need to tape it.

Yeah either use tape by itself or you use poly fill all by itself you don't have to tape the polyfill in there!
The idea is to put enough in that it doesn't fall out!

Tape up when colonising then put poly fill in when it’s ready to fruit

If u have polyfil, just use polyfil. You dont need micropore tape, it's just a different option.
Put polyfil in the holes and you're done.
Some people put regular tape over the holes during colonization but it's not necessary.

Micropore tape and polyfil both allow Fae.
Some people use regular tape to tape up holes during colonization to limit Fae. If using regular tape you would remove the tape once it’s getting close to full colonization then fill with poly to get Fae for fruiting.
If you already have the tubs with polyfil just leave it be. It will work either way.
There are many ways to come to the same conclusion.
