theRealrollforever said: I loved it you can’t ask for a better game than one that comes down to the final 5 minutes. Only thing worse than your team losing a super bowl is if they get crushed and don’t even put up a fight. That’s a shitty feeling if you’re a sports fan
This is exactly how I felt it was a great game a true battle of Titans, my very first thought when we lost was that was amazing football we didn't get sweeped and that last TD was more or less a fluke. Still it was an amazing comeback in this most important game was like watching Michael Jordan or somebody of that caliber Mahomes Kansas city deserves this for the most part totally not their fault the refs suckjust like the electoral college
Interestingly enough Lambardi said there was constant holding on KCs part and even a few missed calls on the Niners his argument was there was so much pressure on the refs that they just didn't want to be blamed for either team losing. I still think that night KC was the better team. Mahomes was phenomenal the defense steped up and Jimmy g fucked up on some passes and first time all season I saw him spooked for a lack of better term. . I think Kyle Shanahan fucked up BIG time he had running plays right through the middle for 3 straight downs many times. Declined important penalties he was a fucking mess at play calls.

Right before the chiefs mounted their comeback in the 4th quarter I walked back home from the bar I was at. I don’t do big crowds so I went to a dive bar to watch the game, but my yelling at the TV kept getting increasingly louder, and while no one there Said anything because I’m friends with most the people that were there, I still told my girl we needed to tab out because my yelling was involuntary and I didn’t wanna annoy people I liked. I’d rather annoy the dicks in my apt building.
And as soon as I left the bar to walk back home, the comeback started. Coincidence? I don’t think so. My actions have direct impacts on chiefs games that are taking place hundred of miles away. I must be pretty important to the universe...
So as I’m walking home I start hearing super loud cheers from blocks away (musta been the long tyreek hill completion) and then I hear even louder cheers (musta been the TD that followed) and then I knew the tide had shifted and I needed to start running home instead of walking. My apt building is on a major street near downtown KC and when I was walking home I didn’t see ONE car. It was fucking eerie outside between the cheers and fireworks.
So, you’re welcome Kansas City Chiefs and Chiefs fans. If I hadn’t gotten up and left the bar, the Chiefs comeback wouldn’t have happened. That was pretty fucking awesome. It’s been hard being a chiefs fan until last night. I hope Mahomes becomes the new Brady and brings us 10 more.
God I love football so much
Every city should get to feel this at some point. It’s really cool when everyone is friendly to each other. I imagine this is what New York City was like after 9/11

it may be on your way to work, or getting gas at the 7/11, or while you're sitting in the drive-thru line at taco bell but in an instant you won't even know what hit you

Why?
There's a lot of reasons really. First I would say that football is akin to a chess game including the ultimate athleticism test. All these players are extremely smart and what they do. Also the team aspect is almost transcendent at times and sometimes teammates are able to have a synchronicity that creates amazing plays they even never seen before. In the case of the Niners this year we had a lot of Ricky Blair's that stepped up to the plate and became Superstars throughout the season which is amazing to see the progression. The drive and dedication that these people have out serve Us free much any industry.
I think out of all sports football is the most precise elegant and pretty much just the Pinnacle of athleticism and Sports in general. Hell even just this year having the Dolphins beat the Patriots was jaw-dropping and pretty historic and some ways. I respect all these players quite a lot. To get hit by several hundred pound linebackers every play her four quarters takes a lot of determination and unwillingness to give up. Unfortunately that's what I saw in the last quarter from the Niners this year but if we're not discouraged and fine-tune the team a bit and also with Kyle Shanahan recognizes his mistakes when they have a chance of taking the next one.
However I started watching football again through highlights so I could watch every game recently and it was just when Patrick Mahomes was getting started and I've seen him be just an absolute legendary type player ever since even when they didn't make it to the Superbowl.Quote:

Slow motion highlights are pretty cool, I'll give you that. Plus a lot of hot big guys in tights, not too bad.

Lol as far as highlights ho it's actually a 10-15min recap of every game so instead of trying to watch 6 4 hour games it's a great way to see the important plays and follow everyone's progression. There's a slightly larger fella for the eagles that just got a TD in the pro bowl that was so big people were bouncing off of him.
