Absorbant pads in every one of my non-refundable 500 petri dishes. What can I do?

As of twenty minutes ago, I pulled out my some dishes from my new case to get on my agar pouring. I was surprised when I saw in every single one of them, small absorbent pads the size of the dish. Can I pour anyway and ignore them? I don't see any sterile way to remove them. Thank you guys!

If they're already sterile might as well use them.
Just pour enough agar so you can get a wedge out when it colonizes to that point.

Damn,
That's a bummer. What makes it non-refundable? Black market petris?
If that's all you have to work with, maybe you can setup in a SAB and use a flamed scalpel to stab and lift them out of the dishes before you pour the agar.
Got a pic of one?

Is the pad removable? Remove and sterilize at least you have the plates. If not and they are not refundable try a couple anyway if you have nothing to lose. If that does not work sell them on Ebay in lots of 10-50 you will cover a lot of your cost.

I was shrooming really hard and everything started melting... I took a photo to prove it.
Naw, I was storing the lid in the oven and fired up the broiler to cook a steak. Heard it popping a few minutes later. Doh! Just had to replace the gauge and the rest of it is fine. Just a reminder not to do that again!

Question, if you open them upside down do they fall out or are they stuck to the bottom? If they are stuck I would de stack them and pour them all to the point that they are almost over pouring and let them cool inside the sab. Hopefully can have enough above the pad to get usable media. If they do pop out upside down just unpack them upside own open each up then flip the stack. Best somewhat sterile way I can see to do it. Also nothing is unrefundable, contact your card issuer if the seller doesn’t want to refund you, charge back on that ass. Rip if you used coin for some reason to buy them

That "pad" maybe usefully for Invitro cloning, like the "POM's" in the 32oz TwistNloc's, if it's inert?

I found it works to carefully cut off the bottom of the sleeve.
Then grab the top of the bag with one hand and support the petris from underneath with the other.
Carefully use your top hand to gather the sleeve at the top while using your other hand on the bottom to keep the stack pushed together. Just bunch it up at the top until you can grab like 5 dishes without them opening and spoiling the sterile interior.
If you're asking what I think you are, the dishes and lids come right apart. There's nothing holding them together except the sleeve and gravity. The lid literally just rests on top of the base of the dish.

I opened a package already, making it 480 sterile petris and 20 unsterile petris.
Sure, here's a pic I found online of the exact petris I got:

How bizarre. I wonder why the floor mats.
The bad thing about pouring your agar over those dish mats is you won't be able to see through the bottom of the dish (meh ). Also, could be difficult getting your transfer cuts to separate from the mats once the agar soaks into them.
It's not refundable... so nothing to lose by experimenting!
