No Germination - Several Attempts

Hey there folks, I'm a first time poster trying to germinate spores from agar (Cubes). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I've been trying to germinate spores on no pour agar "plates" (small ziplock containers with holes covered in micropore tape).
I have made a few attempts with no germination of spores, and more suspiciously no contamination either!
I have tried changing the temperature (added a seedling heat mat with thermostat set to 70 under my SAB with no pour plates inside), got a new spore print, and decreased agar recipe to 90% to make the agar a little softer. No luck so far. Last time I waited for over a week.
I'm sort of at a loss. If this batch doesn't germinate after a couple weeks I think I'll change from pre-mixed PDA to agar a la Asian Grocery...
One concern I have is condensation, there seems to be quite a bit. I thought the main concern with condensation was contams, but I have none? Could I be drowning my spores or something?

I use asian grocery agar and it works fine.
How are you adding spores? It can take time.
I normally get a qtip wet, wrap it in aluminum foil and PC that with my plates. Then I swab directly from the spore print, and dab in the middle of the plate.
Too much water could fuck it up, dont forget to put the paper towels (two layers) on top of the plates, and to wrap them in foil.
I didn't use the paper this time by fluke, super wet plates, but I still have growth.

I have been individually wrapping dry q-tips in aluminum foil, then putting those inside an autoclave bag and pc-ing them. Inside the SAB I open the bag, and swab the spore print with the dry q-tip and then swab the inside of the plate. Each plate has about 3 layers of paper towel on top (and foil while in the PC).
I just upped the temperature of my heat mat to 75 to see if that does the trick, and I tipped some of the ziplock container/plates on their side to keep the condensation off a bit. I didn't want to flip them completely upside down in case the paper towels fall off completely.
Do the q-tips need to be wet?
Thanks for your help

don't use a heat mat thats old tek, you'll just help bacteria and mold with better conditions.
next time try getting the qtips at least a bit moist, and press into the agar plate, dont just touch. You will transfer out from the plate anyway, maybe even do 3 separate circle dabs, and pick the best one.

My house sits at about 60-65 degrees, isn't some sort of heat kind of critical?
I'll try getting the q tips moist next time, thanks!

Never use heating mats. Only use space heaters near your cultivation stuff. No direct heat.
Perhaps your spores are no good.....
