I noticed the humidity dropped to 65% one day. It couldn't've been for more than 12 hours but the bases of the caps and stems got kinda blue and it doesn't look like they've grown since. I used to see them double in size everyday but this is day....3 or 4 now?

My BRF cakes are still growing but my coir/verm boii's stopped. Are they going to be okay?
Humidity's been perfect everyday, every hour since that event and even before

They're Cambodians if that matters

Looks like it was too humid/wet and not enough air flow. They're all fuzzy and goblin looking. Usually happens to people who design a fruiting chamber around the idea that they need 99% humidity constantly.

This grew open air. Its in the shower it only got humid twice a day though from showering. Which also was its twice daily misting. And i think it still would have done better with less water it has signs of being too wet on these shiitake caps too. Wrinkles

The humidity was constantly in the 90's yeah, I fanned a few times a day. It's in a smaller greenhouse. Do you have any suggestions for what I should adjust to?

Worry more about them breathing. Not so much about them drying out. It's going to take pretty dry to get caps to crack. I'd rather have an awesome full killer flush with some cracked caps then soggy and few. I personally don't think tents make much sense for cubes

Not monitoring humidity by hygrometer and getting a feel for visually assessing surface conditions.
I was the same way just a couple months ago, but you don’t need external humidity and as bod told me, evaporation occurs better when the humidity is less than 60%. Just gotta keep an eye and mist when needed.

Ther should be a light coverage, of the whole sub, of water droplets at most times. It’ll go away right before pinning, but you should have to shrine a light on it to see the moisture. Like, invisible to the naked eye, but glistens when your phone flashlight is shined on it.
