I like things that invoke thought processes, make me thing about digging in deeper, unpeeling the layers of the mind. The dark side of a matinee by franz ferninand, feels like we only go back by tame impala, daft punk within, etc. depends on the mood though, certain songs provoke certain thoughts and I generally think about the purpose of which i'm listening to music for prior to selecting what I listen to.

music is special that way the one above is one that i heard on a very early hyperspace event! and all the words he said came true in one way or another over the following few months! so its super special brings back that feeling!

Dark side of the matinee by Frank Ferdinand is a good one. I remember buying that album which I was more into than their next one. Also from around then I remember listening E-pro by Beck and watching the music video. The Information is a good album and a lot of song by Beck.
I was listening to Evanescence, Within Temptation and Nightwish walking back from shroomin tonight
Also I was listening to “Lights” by Ellie Goulding (the original but Bassnectar has a good remix I like more when I smoke than a walk) and I could see the street lights in town and the clear night sky with so many stars.

The Fear is Excruciating, but Therein Lies the Answer by Red Sparowes is an amazing instrumental work of art. Can be very intense at times especially during the onset.

I listen to different things all the time. Usually spend time in between trips listening to new music and then putting songs into a "next trip" playlist so I have new content gathered for my next adventure!
These two songs on my last trip had me full on psychedelic.
Both of these songs had me turned on like no other. It really brings out the mushroom goddess...

Has anyone listened to Music for Mushrooms: A Soundtrack for the Psychedelic Practitioner by East Forest? It’s a 5 hr album. Super chill soundscapes with integrated nature sounds.
