Toxic Chlorophyllum molybdites. You should toss those in the bushes I took a bite and was sick for 6 hours. Like extreme vertigo and feeling dehydrated kinda thing. Others report this as most common cause of hospitalization
There is also Irish folklore that says those green-spored false parasol are curse and haunted by the Fae

GoldTopper said: Hi again,
Could I please get an ID on these? I'm pretty sure they are cubensis but I can't bruise the stems or get spore prints because they were a bit old and in bad condition when I found them.
They were found in a cow paddock on the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia.
Any help with this would be really appreciated!

This is either a Chlorophyllum species or a Lepiota, do not eat them.

Much appreciated for the advice guys!
I would not consume unless I had positive IDs from experts like yourselves.
I'm desperate to find some healthy cubes but the lack of rain is a real issue.
I'll keep hunting though. Rain is due next week so I'll give it another crack.

Yes be careful because I didn’t even misidentify one and I took a small bite once after dropping one on the ground. Something about those are kind of tempting in their own way but totally not worth it. So much risk. A very small amount is horrible

They look more like Chlorophyllum molybdites which are highly toxic were they growing out of the dung itself or out of grass or hay? Definitely don't ingest them

Could I get a confirmation that I have Cubensis again here please?
The weather here is very wet. This specimen looks pretty weathered and wet.
The stem turned blue when I cut it ready for a spore print.
Thanks, Goldtopper

I understand, it's really easy to tell when you have a cubensis. They will: A) Growing from dung directly or in well manured soil.
B) have a purplish to purple black spore print
C) bruising bluish or bluish- green where handled or injured.
D) annulus (ring on stem) may or may not be present. will fall off with wind and rain.
E) when looking at the cap surface with a hand lens, the cap will be bald/smooth. It may look like it has fine hairs to the naked eye but when looking at it with the hand lens you will see it's actually smooth and bald, hence the name: psilo= bald cybe= head
