Is this bruising or something else? Spawn was definitely questionable but just curious what it is, hopefully you can see it in the pictures.

Update: Things seem to be moving along normally, except the bluing/bruising has slowly spread to the entire tub. I am using bods unmodified tub with the lid flipped upside down. Is it normal that there is gap along the entirety of the lid and the tub instead of just where the latches are for bods tek? It seems like it might be too much FAE?
I wouldn't say the weather has been abnormally dry lately, but in between my visits to the tub (at least twice a day) its nearly completely dried up.
Would love some advice/suggestions

Too dry, you shouldn’t see shrinking like that with only a few immature pins. Bottoms water down the side of the tub with a syringe or, if not possible for you, lightly mist 3x a day for 2-3 days.

So strange because I prepped my sub pretty wet and I mist at least once a day. Roughly how much water do people add to bottom water?

There's no condensation on the walls at all. You must have either too much FAE or you live in a dry climate. I live in a dry climate and need to mist it at least twice a day. I try mist the sub at much as I can without making it look to wet but sometimes I have to over do it because it just gets so dry. I also mist the walls and the cover which helps up the humidity without wetting the sub any more than I have to. When I bottom water it (generally after a flush and just spraying the walls a lot) I can see the water fill up the sides. I let it sit for awhile and usually the sub soaks it up. If there is excess, I drain it. I use 6qt shoeboxes so it's easy to handle the tub for draining.

yeah, shoeboxes are easy to drain off but wouldnt know how to manage this tub if I overwatered.
