Who can name this contam?

Hey legends,
I have had this little spotty boy show up on numerous agar plates. Just to be helpful, the mycelium is pointing to it for you, at 3 o’clock. It appears before the plates have been inoculated most times. At first I ditched a whole bunch of plates, but after some experimentation have found that the mycelium doesn’t give a rats ass about it and powers over it. Never more than one in a plate and never grows bigger than this (4mm) - in fact this is the largest I have encountered.
I still respect the fact it isn’t meant to be there and never use a plate with this to go to grain. Love to know if anyone can name my little buddies!

I've seen the same pop up on a couple of my plates.
Some kind of staph. Definitely bacteria.
Can anyone second that? I'm new.
Edit: Forgot to say just transfer to a new clean dish. Don't let the myc get close to it before you do. Would attack from the opposite side of the dish from where the bloop is.

Thanks mate. For sure, The only reason I have let it run into the contam was to see what happened. For two weeks though, it literally showed no sign of caring. Now I still use those plates to transfer, as I hate the idea of wasting it.
I’m thinking of re posting this in mushroom cultivation as it seems to get a bit more traffic. Is this “double posting” looked down on - something that would get me in hot water with the admins?

I get curious like that also sometimes.
Regarding reposting elsewhere, I'd review the forum rules beforehand. I'm pretty sure rapid firing the same question all over is at least frowned on.
Give it some more time for people to chime in if you really need to know exactly what it is. Most important is to review your sterile techniques and continue practicing.
Here's a link to tons of photos on how it should and shouldn't look.

But really, don't worry too much about what it is. Just transfer away from it because you do know it isn't mycelium.
