Taking foil off ASAP right after PC?

I'm being told to take the jars out of the PC as soon as the pressure is down and to remove the foil so condensation doesn't build up on the inside of the top of the foil and the polyfil so it doesn't get wet and allow for contaminants. Where do you put your jars then in the mean time if they're still this boiling hot and you're supposed to take the foil off?

I left my foil on a couple weeks ago. I left the foil for a few days. Polyfil was soaked.

So if I need to take it off as soon as the pressure drops on the PC, where do you keep your jars to cool with the top off? It's still going to be blazing hot.

I mean is this even the correct thing to do? Where do you put it with the foil off but still boiling hot?

go for it the foil is only there to stop the pc from raining on your filter while it cools down. it's a filter for a reason what are you worried about?

Because people were telling me if you leave the foil on while it cools down that the condensation on the inside of the foil will make the polyfil wet also and induce contamination. So as soon as the pressure drops on my PC I need to take them out and take the foil off but where do you keep your jars while they’re still boiling hot to cool down?

So it’s fine to keep them out in the open that long with no foil that long? I won’t be inoculating for about another 12 hours.

Wet polyfil that just came out of a PC (and thus sterile) isn't going to induce contamination. Moisture will evaporate from it in a few hours.

I thought you usually put the foil back on and incubate it somewhere safe. So the still air box is only used for inoculation and everything else is open air?

Okay, I thought all the steps with the jars had to be out of open air. I thought just having it out in the open chilling like that you could get contaminated or bacteria.
So can you inoculate open air also then as long as you have good technique and have no fans blowing or anything?

So really I can just leave it in my PC then for next 12 hours until I inoculate them? People were telling me not to and to take it out as soon as it’s done.

don't inoculate in open air it takes five minutes to make a sab. And leaving them in the pc is ok but it will rain down moisture as it cools

What people where? Fucking leave them in there it's fine. I like to open the lid after letting the PC cool for awhile. Then I take the jars out and shake them before returning to the PC. After returning to the PC I put the lid back on but dont twist the lid tight(for the sake of the seal). Next day once my hangover wears off I'll roll out of bed grab a shower and some coffee then get to inoculating.

You do know the filters actually serve a purpose right?
I don't even use foil anymore at all period with polyfil lids in the cooker or out.
