Amanita Muscaria found in graveyard

Yo
Found these just chillin in a graveyard a few months ago near my house in the UK. Never seen before in real life and I was stunned by how the colour pops out next to the green grass. I did some googling to check if it was what I thought it was and there's no mistaking it.
Complete with flies and everything.
I didn't pick any because there were only 3 and they looked so perfect. Wish I had taken some spores though, but I'm sure I'll get another chance.

Sorry, new to forum. Didn't mean to upload a zip folder, I'll attach a proper picture this time.

You wouldn't have any need for the spores other than an eventual look in a microscope. Amanita species are not possible to cultivate as such, they rely on a so called mycorrhizal relationship with a tree, where the mushroom mycelium grows together with the tree roots for exchange of water and nutritients. Not that you'd need to cultivate any if you're interested in picking them, since they are pretty abundant in most places in the Northern Hemisphere - given they have access to trees.
Also, they are most recommended when young, since they very soon become maggot fiestas. I'm not inclined to pick them in any case, and I agree that they look awesome against a green canopy.
Nice find.

Cool, thanks for the knowledge! I've just started reading Mycelium Running so I'll know more about mycorrhyzae soon.
I agree about the picking, they're a bit poisonous for my tastes.

Well, they are really only poisonous if you eat them raw. For their psychoactive properties to come forth, you'll need to dry them properly, however their effect is apparently vastly different from psilocybin mushrooms. I never tried them though. But they are also apparently an excellent edible if you parboil them thoroughly in lots of water and then fry them up in butter.
This is nothing I'm willing to recommend personally, since I've never tried that myself, and would urge caution towards anyone who wants to try it unless they know what they're doing.
But you can see an amusing little clip of David Arora serving it right up here:

I think its choice of host trees varies with the climate or region. Where I live, it has an affinity for spruce and birch, but I've seen it grow with quite a diverse range of tree species. In the boreal areas it is mostly growing with birch, and is especially plentiful in those regions.
