Update Got my first pin!

Was worried that it would never happen. Hoping more start popping up. Why is it that monotubs always seem to form pins on the edges and corners of tubs first?

Anyways this is what the rest of the tub looks like right now.

Does it look healthy and should I be worried about it's yellow/brown color?
Ive been accidentally overmisting it cause I got a new spray bottle and got a little overzealous. Got a flashlight app on my phone to look at it closer and discovered that I've probably been overmisting it the past couple days. I saw that it was sitting it pools of water when I lit it up. Does mycelium recover from flooding?

It looks like you have almost mothered that tub to death. The best thing you can do at this point is just stop fucking with it.

I’m not sure but that looks like a shitload of metabolites yeah??

I’ve seen people suck them up and save them, not sure I’ve ever seen them used but man now would be the time.

Op I can’t tell if the yellow is dry or pooled up liquid, if it’s wet it might help to soak it up with a paper towel. I’m not positive though it might need it there if it’s metabolites.

Congrats on that pin, hopefully more come soon. Have you looked at the bottom? Might be some hiding.

You’re not going to get the flush you want big dog. Metabolites of that magnitude only happen with bacterial contamination present.
