Shroom to spore syringe directly?

Just read this interesting comment on YouTube on a video making spore prints:
"Just sterilize a shot glass, put the mushroom over so the spores fall inside, that way you can just add distilled water to the shot glass and collect them with a syringe. Less chance of contamination"
Do you think it would work? Planning on knockin' up some BRF jars soon and it sure would save some effort and time if I didn't have to make a real print and then make a spore syringe. It would be nice to just let the spores fall inside, shoot some distilled water from my syringe and draw it back up and then inoculate my jars immediately.

here's a TEK from a Trusted Cultivator that i've used before. just skip the part about putting the foil print into the shot glass because you're obviously taking the print in the glass.

PC your shot glass & butter knife for 20 minutes at 15 PSI make sure to wrap them in foil, before PCing. That way you can wipe them down in your SAB before opening them & using them. Be sure to flame your needle before ejecting the water into your shot glass. Then drip a bit of water on your print, then scrape into the shot glass. Eject a bit more water into the shot glass then suck it up quickly. Only use distilled water if you're planning on keeping the syringes for awhile. If not, tap water will work just fine.
As for sterilizing the syringe itself, I just suck up water that has been boiling for 10 minutes, let sit in the syringe for a minute. Expunge, repeat 4-5 times & let cool.

but also,
why don't you just take the print on a piece of foil (using a SAB)
and then start your print out on agar!
syringes aren't 100% sterile and are a pain in the ass and unnecessary, IMO.
if you think you could pull this print to syringe TEK off...then I'm sure you could use Pasty's easy agar TEK

Mostly because I'm lazy, lol. I've been thinking about agar to grain and then maybe the shoebox tek. But I just grow to trip sometimes, not sure if I would need such a big quantity of shrooms (and I don't own a pressure cooker, I steam sterilize in a pot). Therefore I've been using BRF cakes.
Is it worth trying out agar without pressure cooker, coco coir and large-scale growing?
Thanks for you fast answers btw.

agar is just a really easy and useful skill to use.
also, you could take your BRF cakes and crumble them and spawn to mini monotubs. there's a link in my signature about EASY COIR TRAYS. same rules apply, but instead of trays, you would put it in a monotub.
as far as inoculating brf jars, you could do it with an agar wedge. but syringes might be the best way because of the way you're growing.
pressure cookers can be found at thrift shops for cheap.
but all this being said...
if you haven't been bit by the mushroom bug then you probably don't need to worry about anthing i just wrote lol.
after my first grow in 2004, i was hooked and wanted to learn and try everything
