Long colonizing time for monotub?

Long time lurker, but first time poster. So hello friends.
Alright, i'll try to keep this short, starting with what I started with. This is my first monotub, but i've done cakes in the past, being successful with few jars being contaminated. I shredded up BRF Cakes into loose coir & verm mixture, with 0 jars contaminted, and 4 of those cakes being thrown into a SGFC. However, while shredding them I noticed that the cakes didn't look completely colonized in the middle, and even went on here to check and see what the center of fully colonized cakes looked like, to no avail (maybe I wasn't looking hard enough?) There was still white mycelium in the middle, but not as much as I would have expected like there was on the outside, even though I let them consolidate for 2 days.
The issue that I have now is that my Monotub has been sitting for 12 days starting today, and it looks like this:
Day 7-

Day 12-

Perhaps I just need to be more patient and let them sit longer, but i've read posts that after 2 weeks, people decide to just toss them due to them being possibly contaminated, and that the coir stops being pasteurized after the 2 week mark, as well as the fact that's it's been past the 10 day mark. At the same time, my cakes still haven't begun pinning, nor fruiting, and they were thrown into the SGFC at the same time:

They've already been dunked & rolled upon birthing, and dunked again 2 days ago in fear of them getting dry and nothing happening. Nothing all around them gives signs of them being contaminated, nor smell.
Sorry for the long post, and I appreciate anyone reading all of this text, as well as any advice given. I'm going to assume the long wait time is due to the cakes not being fully colonized.

Surface looks dry to me. I'd mist, by spraying up into the air above your tub letting the mist come down onto your tu s surface naturally.
Pretty sure I see hyphal knots which means you should be seeing pins soon. If you don't maintain proper surface conditions you'll end up with boomers growing from the sides and bottom of your tub.

Pictures aren’t the best but, from what I can tell there looks to be a decent amount of knots and you should have pins any day just be patient!

It looks extremely dry to me.
Why is the surface so lumpy in the second picture?
It looks level in the first.

cover up a lot of those little holes by running a strip of duck tape over them. start MISTING in the morning and night.
your tub looks dry. but you can still get a good flush.
then after you harvest, mist the shit out of your substrate. to the point of standing water...cover it up and let it drink. then you'll have a decent second flush

Thanks for the advice! I've been scared of opening the tub up due to having it be contaminated, but I'll go ahead and give it a mist today. All the holes are covered with clear tape, and as to why it's lumpy, I don't know. At least I'm learning and hope the next tub goes well. Thanks again.
