I don't think it's torrents , it like taking them from a cloud ...I guess. It's called cyrosehd. The icon just says chd.

I'm working from home today and have been watching the newest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm on the DL, and it's so good, way better than the initial come back season and more like the older seasons. Solid 7.7/10 Leave it to Larry David to be able to successfully joke about the Me Too movement.
Omg the new season is hilarious. The first episode where he started wearing a MAGA hat so people would start avoiding him. And Jeff looking like Harvey Weinstein. Had my dying.
Watched Knives Out last night.

Absolutely great mystery thriller that almost plays out like a game of Clue and will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what’s gonna happen next.
A grandfather dies suspiciously and a group of detectives come to a house to interrogate the family members who last saw him alive and everybody seems to have a motive to kill him but it gets crazy lol.

I'm surprised there's no South African shows you really like though. I would think there'd be some pretty interesting stuff produced there. You've got a large enough talent pool for sure.

Thanks pirate-blues
Most of our shows are not up to standard imo. But you're right there are a whole bunch of talented and very smart people here. Unfortunately I think it's mainly just the economy that doesn't allow the film industry in particular to flourish like it probably could.
Most of the shows are also either reality shows or stuff like Days of Our Lives. A few years ago there was a locally produced music channel that was pretty awesome though and produced pretty good shit, but that has died off since.
Unless some things change, basically the only option for good entertainment in terms of what I like, is abroad. I'm not really complaining though.
Good art is universal because it speaks to the heart.

District 9 I liked a lot though, South African director, and set in a fictional version of the slums of Johannesburg. They said Neill Blomkamp was going to direct the Halo (based on the video game) movie at some point, but that shit never happened. Also kind of liked his other films, Chappie was a bit meh, imo. But I liked Elysium.

I got around to watching Midsommar last night - at one point I did kind of walk away mid movie because I was cooking dinner, but I started tuning in again right before things got pretty wild. I'd say it's a solid 7.5-8/10. Super trippy, well done, and very reminiscent of The Wicker Man which is one of my all time favorites(the original, not the Nick Cage one). I don't know what the fuck is entirely wrong with my friend and I but we were laughing like non-stop towards the end when everything starts to get real weird. I guess it was just the absurdity of it all that got me.
Don't think I could watch it on acid, even though it is pretty visually stunning.

I've been dying to see this. What We Do in The Shadows is one of my favorite all time movies ever, and I like a lot of Taika Waititi's other stuff too. It looks hilarious.
But I refuse to pay 20 dollars to buy it on amazon prime, especially when it's gonna be available to rent in another week or so.
I should probably just grow a pair and pirate it or something.

I loved What we do in the shadows too.
I pirated it... if you'll get in trouble in some way, don't do it. But if you just feel bad, your name makes sense now.
