Round about day 29 of Lucky Bamboo and Myc, where A couple dozen grains were tossed in 3/4ths the way down and the bamboo ‘planted’ (shoved) in above. They have certainly made contact, lets see if they intermingle. On the closeup the yellow bit at the bottom of the tree is a drop of secondary metabolites, so there’s something it doesn’t like in there but it’s the only bit of metabolites I’ve seen. While the table has enhanced it a bit, the bottom coir is a lighter brown than the rest, and I’m not sure why. It’s been like that since the beginning, hasn’t spread, and the border has softened, but what appears to be grain in it hasn’t grown either.

it's been a while. Like two years since last post. Back up and running. Feels great! Here's two 1:2 RW monos on day 5 and about 50 jars coming (RW, B+, KSS, APE, TPB). it's been a bit so lmk how my surface is looking in the unbodified tubs. no misting yet, havent touched - don't plan on it until harvest. thanks in advance - happy 2020 yall.

The coir is FAR too wet, that's why.

I know I know(I'm out dated) I got jars of Rye I started last night, my Rye game is weaker.

It's not just any corn, right? Isn't it popcorn? If it is popcorn, I wonder why it doesn't pop when in the pc, moisture content perhaps?

Indeed, I didn’t mist it today, I’ve been overhydrating compared to what I would with myc in hopes at keeping the plant happy as well.

Was the spawn dirty or something?
It would be so cool to work on cloning that tall one til you had a whole tub full, it looks like it finished growing and then reset and started over again.

lol right, I had put the jar in a tote and forgot about it for a few days. Then seen stretch armstrong here.
I kinda thought the spawn was bacterial, so instead of spawning to bulk, I "cased" with coir and put a baggy on it.
Im gonna assume the spawn was clean tho, cause this growth with the long guy came after what I thought would be the only harvest

This was the 1st harvest here. before I tossed it, I broke the cake up and all looked like it would keep going! Smelled great and everything
missed the giant clone, but took 2 from the intial harvest. (short/fat & fast)

Yes, colored popcorn and no popping due to the moisture. It's an old old tek. I just PC the kernels loose with 2-3 inches of water above it. Then rinse, dry, load jars and PC again. I think Oldspice was one of the 1st to do the "no soak popcorn" here.
