Reviving Spore Prints

So I have been part of this community for a while. I have not however been as active in the last few years. I would like to reach out and get some advise from some of the experts on this website. I have some prints that are very old and have been in probably not the most favorable environments.
I have a bunch of prints that I would like to revive and put to agar to try and save these varieties. I will put a list below. What I am curious about is what is the oldest print that you have been able to revive and put back in to the system? I have noticed lately there is a huge shortage of varieties out on the sponsors websites and I would like to save some of these for future use by the community.
The List: Ban Phang Ka 2009 Strom TMF 2014 Malabar 2015 Thai Pink Buffalo 2014 SyzyGY 2015 Eat's Burma 2014 Texas Yellow Cap 2014 Cambodian 2012 Lizard King 2012 GT 2012 OG TMF 2008

I've had several from 2012 and older. I've also had some dead prints. I'm in the same boat but you can see how far I've gotten in the last few months in my sig↓
I'm no expert but what I've found is forced hydration and syringes worked none of the time, for me. Even after a month of hydrating. I've been streaking agar with very little spores and if nothing germinates I try again being pretty generous with the spores.

Longest was 12 years for me. Try it on agar first. If no luck, you can attempt by rehydrating.
I did that stropharia from 2003 in 2015 I also revived one i had labeled as old print which was somewhere between 97-2001. It was ready to inoculate but i got overwhelmed at the time. I may actually revisit it this year.

I believe this print is Rw or possibly APE, the date looks like 2-2012, had trouble reading the writing on the print. Should get a picture of that for opinions too.

Used almost half but haven't gotten anything to germinate. Out of about 12 plates 2 have grown mold, the others are as clear as if they were never used. On one I tried a large glob of spores in a drop of water, but nothing! I'll put up a picture of that plate soon you can see the spores.

I give all mine three weeks to germ now. I found anything longer than that to be pointless. For me at least. When I got to cleaning out the pitris some of them were too firm and prob would have never germinated. I was trying this white stringy agar from the Asian food place. It's no good, it looks good but when it cools it has a waxy consistency. All the rest in this pic work well for me.

I hydrated pan tropicals and ksss in syringes for a month and never got one colony from prob 40 pitris which also sat for a month. Everything else took a couple weeks to start but if I was gonna get a colony to transfer it appeared inside of three weeks.
This is how much spores it took to get my x7x started. Bear in mind I was being generous with about ten pitris. Once I got a colony I just expanded it. That print is prob 3 inches.

Wow I thought 10 was bad 40 would be insane. This print is super light I'll probably try scraping some up and letting em sit in a syringe of sterile water for a bit. Hydration may be the best option. I use telephone agar I get a small pack for $1.29 at the local Asian market, makes a fair amount of plates but maybe I'll try a softer agar again. Tried that before but maybe not soft enough?

Seems like a lot but I usually make ten pitris at a time and on projects like these I do a batch every week until I get something I can work with. I did that from print, then fresh syringe, then again at the end of the month when they had time to rehydrate. That's when I decided those prints were dead and moved on. I've only thrown away 4-5 prints so far. Out of ten pitris I've been getting 2-3 that are workable. Just saves me time to make a bunch at once and pick the best rather than a few at a time and waiting.

This is all awesome information.
So far I have found a syringe of B+ that was from 2016 that took to BRF cakes, It definately has contams, but I can canibalize a cake to get a culture to agar. And the 3 year old spore blast on a fruiting cart from my old Martha. That I have managed to get to Germinate and clean up a couple of times. I will T3 it tomorrow.
I recently (3 days ago) did 25 dish's with Pan Cams, Pan Cyans, PE LC (which I am sure is dead) and a PE Swab I made 3 years ago. Nothing yet but Im hoping for good things soon.
The bonus is I am lazy and usually work on this project after a few beers so I have like 15-20 prints that are unlabeled that I can still work on.

I tried to make 4 cakes but 3 out of 4 just ended up drying out after a few months, one turned green and dry. I'll probably use a good amount of spores making the syringe, really wanna see what they turn out to be!
